Planting my herbs. You may already know of this trick; I place the potted plants into the basin then add dirt all around them and pack it in. When I remove the pot, I’m left with a hole the exact size of the plant root, so it slides right in.

Step 1: put potted plants in basin.

Step 2: add dirt and pack around them

Step 3: remove pot, leaving hole

Step 4: remove pot or plastic and insert plant root ball into hole.
