Anyone here have advice or recommendations on whole house cleaning planners meant for folks who get decision paralysis, easily overwhelmed and/or have ADHD? I’ve seen a bunch of what look like ads on some of the meta platforms, but don’t know what to trust. #advice #adhd #cleaningsupport

My newest knitting project is The Worst Witch Scarf. It came in a kit of 7 mini-skeins of hand dyed yard in various hues. Pattern is on Ravelry and on the website for Cape May Fiber. It’s a beautiful and relatively easy pattern to follow. #knitting #scarf #lacework 🧶

It hung out on Sleeve Island, then camped at Weaving In Ends resort- but I finally finished my first sweater! I gauge swatched, but it is not as large as it should be. Was 5” too narrow pre-blocking. Now it’s 2” too narrow, so I got some size back. Just waiting to dry and will trim ends. #knitting 🧶

Can anyone here tell me what may be going on with my cucumber plants? This is a different variety than I’ve planted in the past & I haven’t seen this before. Not seeing any major bug infestation. Just some leaves turning brown and dying #gardensky #veggiegarden #gardening #gardenfeed

My next (and hopefully final) knitting question regarding this project is which bust measurement do you use to determine size? Shell has 3” ease. Chart is below. Do you use “to fit chest” or “finished bust”? Looks like finished measurements account for ease. #knitsky 🧶

Knitters, I have a gauge question. I knit my 1st swatch (in the round) for a summer sweater. Pattern is 4.5 stitches per inch. I’m at 5 stitches per inch. Is that 1/2 a stitch off going to matter? It’s a knit in the round sweater - stockinette Pattern=Perfecf Summer Shell on Ravelry. 🧶 #knitsky

I have discovered that knitting cables is so much easier than I ever thought it would be! I’m enjoying making this square of the Building Blocks book. #knitting 🧶
Half of a square of sage green knitting that has four simple cables- flanking a cable that looks like a knit stitch in the center. This green fabric is laying on a Merlot colored velveteen pillow as a backdrop.

I finally finished seaming my Grid Gambit cowl. So the project is finis! First time doing the mattress stitch. Must say I impressed myself with the way my colored lines matched up. I really should have left an inch at the bottom so it’s as loose at the top #knitsky #showmeyourknits #knitting

A few more photos from #handsoff in #philly yesterday. #handsoffphilly
Large sign at protest that says Marines for Democracy. Homemade signs. One that says Stop Working for Putin and the other sign says Lock them all up. A sign with a graphic drawing of the Statue of Liberty with her arms outstretched over her head holding a large sign that says Resist. A flagpole at the March with three flags. Just finished knitting the body of the Grid Gambit Cowl. Tomorrow I’ll do the I-cord bind off and block it. Once blocked the two short sides will be sewn together. New knitting skills for me=mosaic knitting and I-cords, and I’ll need to learn mattress stitch to finish.

I have about 18 more rows to knit today in this Grid Gambit Cowl if I want to keep on track to finish by Thursday’s class where we’ll get some guidance in i-cord bindoff & stitching it together. I have to take photos to properly appreciate it because I’m just too close to it right now. #knitting 🧶

Well, my first frogging happened last night. This bit has been reduced to a pile of yarn. I must’ve done my yarn overs backwards as there were no pretty little holes in between the two purl rows. I guess it was bound to happen at one point. Glad it was just the beginning. #knitting 🧶

I started knitting my first color work piece last night. It looks like I made a few small mistakes but I’m forging ahead. This is a lot of firsts: first color work, first time using a large chart that’s more than simple K-P. This is going to be fun as soon as I get the hang of it. #knitting 🧶

Finished knitting the second square of my year long Building Blocks adventure. Another easy square to knit, this lesson was practicing reading a chart. In March I’ll be completing a cowl as well, or mostly completing; I guess it’ll depend how fast I am.

Happy Solstice! We finally got a dusting of snow, perfectly timed.
A landscape photo showing a field and woods in the distance dusted with snow, the sky a light grey with some peachy tones coming thru from the sunrise. A photo of northeastern woods, very little understory here because it’s a wetter area in spring and fall. Snow dusting the ground and branches of what little understory there is. A portrait angle taken from the edge of a field. The woods on the right with the half phase moon shining in the early morning sky. A photo of a path leading into the woods. The woods and ground on either side of the winding path are snow dusted. The Path itself is barren of snow, so the brown leaves and dirt show the way.

After a bit of a struggle, I finally found the palette I’m going to use to make the building blocks knit blanket. It’s modeled after my favourite scarf. Vintage Chunky: Okra, Marmalade, Pumpkin, and Black Cherry. I’m very excited to see how this will shape up. 🧶
