In what may be the clearest Iranian signal yet to the Houthis in Yemen, Iran’s IRGC said that because what it called U.S.-backed “pirates” had disrupted oil and gas exports through the Indian Ocean, other export routes serving the United States and its allies could also be closed.

Overnight CENTCOM strikes destroyed a warehouse at the newer Sarkhur Tahruyi port and likely damaged boats docked at a pier at Haqani Port, the western fishing terminal in Bandar Abbas across from Kish Park. Oil leaks also appear to be visible near Shahid Haqani Port, the eastern terminal.
