Ok, this is extraordinary! Look at his form! You know the crowd is going nuts for him, but even one of the umpires is impressed I’m so glad I was alive at the same time as Lou Piniella was managing the Mariners.

Lou Piniella, grey hair visible because he’s drop kicked his hat, is having an all time meltdown. He’s surprisingly flrxible, with his left leg bent at the knee and at chest level somehow, and his right leg almost completely straight. His arms are outstretched, one in front of him and one off to the side. He looks pissed, and his face is red to match whatever obscenities he’s surely shouting. Behind him and slightly off to the side, two umpires are standing and watching the show he’s putting on. One of them is smirking. The crowd is blurry in the background, but you can tell they’re all on their feet cheering for Piniella.

Update: focaccia adjacent bread was made! Still too hot to eat, but it looks and smells promising.

A cookie sheet sized focaccia is cooling on a rack on a glass table. The focaccia is dimpled (wrinkled looking, really) and has some flecks of sea salt on it. It’s golden and a little toasted in some spots. Some green cushions from the chairs are visible through the round glass tabletop.
