Now I've got 26 40K kits, and 7 Malifaux kits for variety, and you've probably seen my paint rack. I've found 40K to be an excellent hobby, especially for those days where I have no interest in gaming, or those all too common "That's enough internet for today" days. Keeps the brain and hands busy👍

I got into Warhammer 40K because I thought the lore was really cool. Picked up a starter kit to have a couple minis to add to my nerd memorabilia(?), and also have an art project to keep me occupied for a bit. I now have an army I want to fully collect (Eldar), and a second army (Death Guard) I want

Paint.

Ignore the messy floor/background, my nerd corner is in a half-finished basement. Got some shelves to spruce the place up. Anyway, I FINALLY FINISHED MY AELDARI COMBAT PATROL!

Nekima from Malifaux. I wanted to paint something other than 40K, and decided to totally ignore the box art colours.

Typhus was annoying to paint in full-assembly, to the point of almost scrapping him for a new kit, so here's how I did Lord of Virulence.

Typhus. We hate him, but he's cool.

I forgor about this account. Anyway, Maugan Ra. I got a magnifier/light combo, and a proper bright desk lamp AFTER I painted this, so there are some rough spots, but I learned how to take better pics though. #Warhammer40K

Finished the first model in my Wraithguard unit. The combat patrol gave the option of building Wraithblades, and the Ghostaxes are cool, but I opted for the D-Scythe. I know scale is kinda silly on table-top, but he's big next to a SM. #warhammer40k

Iyandeni Spiritseer! I spent an entire night painting just this model, and spent quite a while on the visor, trying to make it look shiny. This page is all caught up now 👍

I snagged an Aeldari Combat Patrol, and after probably 2 weeks, got my first squad of Dire Avengers painted. I'm going with Craftworld Iyanden's motif, because I particularly like their resolve through numerous tragedies

I started with the Space Marine and Tyranid starter sets. Painted the Marine first, Rippers second, and then just used the Termagant to practice. Accidentally made him Thanos colours.

My chosen army. I really like the Sororitas as well, but... Elves.
