A perfect summation of car brain. Oh dear, a car may get scratched!
4 ft pole on bike?

I passed a bicyclist going the opposite direction on a fairly narrow road and they had an orange stick or pole attached to their bike which looked about 4 ft long sticking out into traffic. I assume this is so they force passing cars to give distance but I assume there's no way that's legal right? If someone passes too close and scratches their car or whatever the bike rider would be partially liable or get cited for something?

Hello, I am interested in a massive tank that is terrible for the environment, that doesn't fit in a parking space, that is deadly to pedestrians, and that makes me look a complete tw*t Do you have anything in that line? www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

Research by the Norwegian government has shown how much the health benefits of more cycling and walking bring to society: €2.8 per extra km cycled and €4.2 per extra km walked. So the question is not whether you can afford to invest in cycling and walking, but whether you can afford not to!
