I took down the 3 issues of Ethan Against the Universe I had on here because apparently there are way too many speech bubbles per panel. I didn't realize this was an issue until I showed it to my mom, and while she liked the drawings, the story so far was a bit confusing to her. 1/2

@kaihedgie.bsky.social drew a comic with his main OC Kia, and he apparently also made it for me, and even mentioned me in his description. Well, I guess now I get to return the favor and draw him something else for his birthday sooner or later. Thanks so much! :D Nightingale (c) Kai-Chronaius

Here's the first... er, zeroth... chapter of "Pokémon Nuzlocke Comics - BartTheSock Edition". I cut out the last four panels because no one wants to read four panels of just text while reading a comic. At that point, just make it a novel.

I drew this for @karaken.bsky.social 's birthday, since we both follow each other and I like his art and ideas. The picture depicts one of his OCs, Freya, who is a beast-elf tiger, and also has a major crush on Kronos. Hopefully he won't mind of I put this on Bluesky. Freya © @karaken.bsky.social

Behold: the Alpha Heroes. I based them off of the Teen Titans, but the concept is way less stupid than Teen Titans Go. I don't have enough room to put more in, so here's a link to the DeviantArt page: www.deviantart.com/bartthesock/...

I made a tier list of every Gen I Pokémon in November 2021, organized solely by how useful I thought they were (not their appearance). I took it down from the Internet a while ago for some reason, but I forgot to put this back on the Internet along with my other stuff. Well, that changes today.

010

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

I originally posted this around May or June 2021, but I took it down a while ago. Well, I'm putting it back on the Internet now, so... yeah. I emailed this to @kaboozle.bsky.social in 2021, and he really liked it. He was the one who suggested Kat and Drakhor be friends with benefits.

The first new comic I'm keeping on the Internet. I made this in Paint Tool SAI because even though Photoshop is just as good, I don't want to pay Adobe due to them nuking Adobe Animate soon. I also downloaded OpenToonz so I can make animations without having to pay a single penny.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

I originally drew and posted this comic on June 10, 2020 after watching the announcement trailer for Paper Mario: The Origami King. I updated the comic to represent the remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door since I was way more excited about that than The Origami King.

The last batch of Inktober 2016. I drew this in mid to late May 2021. Also, I said in the bottom-right picture I'd do Inktober 2017, but I never got around to it. I intend to change that. 29. Surprise - Chuckie, popping out of its box 30. Wreck - Mario, wrecking a block 31. Friend - Kirby and Gooey

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

Batch 7 of Inktober 2016. I drew these at the beginning of April 2021. 25. Tired - Kirby sleeping, using the Sleep Copy Ability 26. Box - An Exclamation Block, from Super Mario 64 27. Creepy - Shuppet, a creepy Pokémon 28. Burn - Flamer, a Kirby enemy who once gave the Burning ability

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

This one is just a drawing of Greg Heffley, from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I drew this at the beginning of April 2021, and I used a tutorial for this one as well.

This comic is the last one in the Brandon's Life series. I initially wanted them to go on for much longer, but sadly, life happened. However, I'm working on a new comic series that should be better, since this new comic doesn't have any self-inserts, and thus I can be more free with my stories.

000

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

I drew this in early to mid-January 2021. My mom and younger sister were following drawing tutorials, and Mom wanted me to join her, so I drew this. The one on the left uses the style of the video, and the one on the right is the same drawing in my art style.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

Batch 3 of Inktober 2016. These were done in early to mid-December 2020. Also, I just took a picture of this and later ones to simplify things. 9. Broken - The Superbombomb from Paper Mario: TTYD 10. Jump - Shy Guy jumping 11. Transport - Lapras, the Transport Pokémon 12. Worried - Kirby, worrying

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 27/04/2025

These next eight pieces were NOT drawn almost a decade ago, despite appearances. I actually drew them between December 2020 and May 2021. Here's the first of eight. 1. Fast - Sonic, running fast 2. Noisy - Walky, making noise 3. Collect - Mario, collecting a coin 4. Hungry - Kirby, eating an apple

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

The day before I drew this comic, this exact thing happened while I was playing Minecraft with Chase. I was pretty upset, since the iron farm wasn't done and we didn't have much iron left over for new armor and tools. Chase suggested I make a comic about it, and I felt better after I finished it.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

A few days before I drew this comic, Chase let me join his Minecraft realm, "The Short Kings SMP". I had fun playing with him. We were planning to make a huge skyscraper for the iron farm, but despite this comic, I had no intention of ditching Chase just because it would take a long time to make.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

My mom gave me the idea to draw this comic as a suggestion after doing raid battles in Pokémon Go. I thought the idea was stupid, but I needed something to draw for that day, so it worked out. However, I still think this idea is stupid. At least I got some pretty good car drawing practice in.

010

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

I made this comic because my younger sister, Sam, likes slime, so I figured I could put her and Kia (@kaihedgie.bsky.social 's OC) into a comic together. However, I won't show her too much Internet stuff, at least until she's older. You know, for safety reasons. Kia © @kaihedgie.bsky.social

This comic features @karaken.bsky.social 's OC, Kronos. Despite the picture in Panel 1 actually probably needing to be censored, there is no uncensored version, and there never will be. Also, I don't even remember what the censored picture was supposed to be, anyway. Kronos © @karaken.bsky.social

This wasn't how I found out I was allergic to pumpkin, but I AM allergic to pumpkin seeds. However, if I ever ingest a pumpkin seed, I don't swell up or break out in hives; I develop a systemic rash that looks and feels like chicken pox, but I probably wouldn't be in any lethal danger.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Here's the final batch of Inktober 2020. Only the first picture was traced, but the good news is that no more pictures that I've already uploaded before will be traced. 29. Shoes - Mario in a Goomba's Shoe. 30. Ominous - Gengar following Bulbasaur. 31. Crawl - Weedle crawling.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

My 5th grade teacher was pretty mean, so I made this to eventually get even. Note that her name isn't really Mrs. Gibbons, and that's not what she really looks like. Also, I've retconned the part about Ravine having two older sisters; she only has one older brother in the current story I'm writing.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Here's the seventh batch of Inktober 2020. All of them were traced, sadly. 25. Buddy - Mario and Goombario, buddies in Paper Mario. 26. Hide - A Boo, trying (and failing) to hide. 27. Music - Jigglypuff, singing a tune. 28. Float - An Innertube Goomba, floating on nothing.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

There wasn't really a point to this comic, but I will say that my favorite video game is Paper Mario. As for Ravine's favorite video game, Super Marty Man 3, that's just the third game in the Super Marty Man series, which is a Terran cartoon and video game franchise heavily based on Super Mario.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Here's the sixth batch of Inktober 2020. These were all traced, but I edited the left ones. 21. Sleep - Noddy, a sleeping Kirby enemy. 22. Chef - Chef Kawasaki, a Kirby mid-boss. 23. Rip - Mimikyu, with a rip in its disguise. 24. Dig - Diglett, a Pokémon that can learn the move Dig by level-up.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Here's the fifth batch of Inktober 2020. Unfortunately, the only one I didn't trace was the top-right one. 17. Storm - Kracko, a living storm cloud. 18. Trap - Kirby, trapped in a cage for some reason. 19. Dizzy - Dizzy, an enemy in Kirby's Dream Land. 20. Coral - Corsola, the Coral Pokémon.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

This comic was originally posted two days after Charmander Community Day in Pokémon Go, which is why Charmander is mentioned in the comic. I really did get 62 Charmanders, but I can almost guarantee I've transferred all but the three shinies I caught.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Here's the fourth batch of Inktober 2020. Only the right ones were traced. 13. Dune - Mario, driving through the dunes of the desert. 14. Armor - Tyranitar, the Armor Pokémon. 15. Outpost - Captain Goomba and Shy Guy sitting in an outpost. 16. Rocket - Missile Kirby, from Kirby: Canvas Curse.

010

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

I don't remember what the point to this comic was, but I will say that the comic within this comic is only censored "for stupidity" as a joke. I didn't actually need to censor it.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 23/04/2025

Here's the third batch of Inktober 2020. None of these were traced, thankfully. 9. Throw - Poppy Bros. Jr., throwing a bomb. 10. Hope - Kirby, holding the Love-Love Stick. 11. Disgusting - Piranha Plorp, spitting up poison. 12. Slippery - Mario, slipping on a banana peel.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 23/04/2025

I made this comic after finding out the birthdays of Rhett and Link from Good Mythical Morning. It turns out Rhett's birthday is on October 11, which was the day this comic was originally posted. Note that I have never met Rhett and Link in real life, though I do still enjoy Good Mythical Morning.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Here's the second batch of Inktober 2020. I traced all of these, unfortunately. Sorry about that. 5. Blade - Sword Knight, from Kirby 6. Rodent - Raticate, from Pokémon. 7. Fancy - Toadsworth, from Super Mario 8. Teeth - Toothy, from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

010

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

My mom would sing this song to me when I was a kid, and it got pretty annoying. I changed the line "piece of spam" to "can of spam" so I wouldn't have to draw myself with gross mushy meat for a head, since I figured that would be WAY too inappropriate looked at the wrong way. You're welcome.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

Inktober 2020 #1-4 1. Fish - Cheep Cheep and Blipper, fish enemies from Super Mario and Kirby. 2. Wisp - Swablu, flying through the wispy clouds. 3. Bulky - Golem, because he's pretty bulky with high HP and Defense. 4. Radio - Just a normal radio. I couldn't think of anything else.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

I don't remember why I made this comic specifically, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it was because I had experienced a power outage in real life a few days before drawing this. The fact that Brandon's eyes appear to be glowing is just a gag I've seen in tons of cartoons.

000

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

I have no idea what I was thinking when I made this comic. In case you're wondering, the old guy with the glasses is a fictionalized version of my maternal grandpa. On a side note, when I drew this comic I didn't know how to properly draw glasses in cartoons. I do now, thankfully.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

This one was also originally uploaded on a Sunday, but I did this on purpose to coincide with JaidenAnimations' birthday back in 2020. I referenced a part in her Pokémon Platinum livestream. A link to the animation she did based off of the livestream is below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejys...

I was writing a story at the same time as these comics, and one of the characters was this demon girl named Ravine. I took those off of the Internet a few years ago because I was in a rough spot with the story. I'm in a better place now, thankfully. Here's the comic, unchanged from 4 1/2 years ago.

BartTheSock @bartthesock.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

When I originally drew this comic, I had intended to get it up one day before the date at the top right of the comic, which was a Saturday. The comics were going to be drawn and uploaded twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but I missed the deadline for the 8th comic, so I drew this instead.
