When I visited Teos, near Izmir, with a Turkish archaeologist, in 1980s there were no buildings as I remember. My wife stubbed toe on what seemed a stone. Was identified as a loom weight with indentations on the clay on both sides which did not penetrate it. Thought maybe a toy made for child.

Reality, as opposed to Trump's claims the Russians are ready for peace. Every US TV network should show this, the only way it might be seen on the White House.

Obviously Trump wants to carve up the world with other authoritarian states like Russia and China. As in WW2 the only question is how long it takes for the democratic nations to band with US democrats to defeat him and the lies he feeds his cult support. Time to act, not mock.
