It was a game that allowed you to enter exactly 2 words at the prompt. I’m aging myself, but the idea that you could enter anything at the prompt rather than using punchcards was an achievement.

At NYU it is a 1L elective and it works perfectly well. It is a great course for learning doctrine/lawyering skills, about the power of the state vis a vis individuals, and con law - what doesn't work about it?

I hate the death of take homes. I switched to them and saw the grades go up of students I thought were terrific in class, but also not pan out in the exam. I have always put Stricker in place and graded down wrong answers. That said I sound this analysis very compelling.
