Somehow we ended up with "Alexa Plus" on our Alexa devices. The only noticable change was that they changed the voice. The new voice was so fucking annoying, and the only way to revert to the old voice was to turn off Alex Plus.

It's weird though. There are lots of places where micro-transactions already do work well -- using an app to pay parking meters come to mind. Per-article micro-transactions seem like they'd probably be easier to implement than bundle subscriptions across a number of loosely affiliated publishers.

This is why "bias to action" is one of the business phrases I hate the most. It presumes that doings *something* (other than staying the course) is better than doing nothing. For a variety of reasons, waiting for the situation to progress, or to gather more information, is a better choice.

I use Chrome's built in manager. Works very well across Windows + Android (don't judge me!). I do my best to keep my native app passwords in there too, and copy/paste them as necessary. Wish it was slightly easier to access the password manager (I have to type "password" in the URL bar).

My recollection is that PE came on stage around 1am. But that was 37 years ago and I may be wrong. I also recall leaving the show around 2:30am, looking for a cab in an unfamiliar part of Montreal. Eventually we found one.

After several years of frequent SFO-IAD travel, I have only been to Dulles once in the last 15 years. Didn't love the whole underground experience. I've only flown out of DCA once or twice, but yes, much more manageable and much better views.
