Now when you drag and drop items on characters you get a new popup with possible actions. It makes some actions faster and maybe it's more intuitive for new players. #gamedev #indiegame

I have such a simple system for characters that they all derive from one basic character prefab, they all share the same animations and state machine, so every character can be pet 😄

Testing out this feature where your friends automatically try to do the same thing you do, cut wood in this example. They can also switch weapons to tools and back, if they have them in their equip slots. #gamedev #indiedev

No, it's not tied to xp or level atm. There could be some traits that you gain on level up that could help though. For example if you increase attack speed on level up you will also mine or cut wood faster.

They aren't dead weight, they are still ok at fighting, they can help harvest resources and carry stuff.

Exactly 😄 Although I have already added an option for bandits to heal if they get a healing item, but they don’t start with them in their inventory.

I think I'll just scale it with xp and level. So a new character will get hit a lot but someone with a lot of xp will be good at dodging.

They could, right now it's just disabled for all enemies 😄 I'll probably give it to some enemies, maybe bosses. I don't want it to be annoying though.
