Another of my 2003-2015 #CardiffCity series ... this one of Michael Chopra, a Bluebird icon at both Ninian Park and Cardiff City Stadium. Feels cool to also feature Kevin Campbell, who despite his status was really down to earth. More to come. Any shouts on the next #smsports feature?

Continuing my former #CardiffCity series [players from my 2003-2015 club timeline to start] with double promotion winner, multi-hair / beard wearer and all round nice fella, Aron Gunnarsson. Had fun with this one. #smsports

Kicking off my former Bluebird #smsports series of #CardiffCity icons is yesterday's birthday boy, Joe Ledley. It's fun working on past players, if not a tad challenging finding suitable quality images. We'll give it a go though. Let me know who you'd like done next, or I'll decide myself.

Another Cardiff City image, with more to come. I mean, it's called BLUEsky after all. I'm going to make a collection of former players as time allows. The first one is done and will be posted next. Feel free to shout out with any suggestions, if wanted.

For absolutely no reason, here's a pic of Kevin McNaughton in Danger Mouse attire [minus head], taken at the 2008 #CardiffCity FA Cup squad recording with James Fox at the famous Monnow Valley. Kev is looking on as Steven Thompson records his fab track. Good times.

Catching up with a recent, new #CardiffCity image, as to be used on my upcoming site. This one covers my 2003 - 2015 tenure at Ninian Park and CCS. Those were the days, indeed [at least until 2012]. Chris Barker the prime candidate for leading man.

Yep, sure do. Back when messageboards were the place to be for 'City chat. Cool Tag btw. Love. abit of Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers.

Two facts: 1. #CardiffCity were more fun and different bonkers in the days of this club shop carrier bag. 2. I don't throw away old stuff if there's even a hint of nostalgia.

Make that a 2004/05 loan. The first year back in [then dubbed] Football League Division 1, we had the lovely, simple Puma shirt

I'd hoped that the #PremierLeague festive Wednesday format, "Watch Every Game Every Goal" on Amazon Prime was going to see Jeff Stelling replicate NFL RedZone with Scott Hanson. Sadly it's another panel on a sofa ... though I do admit football is trickier than American Football to make it all work.

Junichi also deserves praise for wearing that god awful [and strangely heavy] silk style Puma shirt - one that Peter Thorne cut the collars off. Smart fella. Magic fella. Had a hat.

Thanks to the #CardiffCity feed, we get to say Happy Retirement to 03/04 loan Bluebird, Junichi Inamoto. Over 16 games Junichi gave us a glimpse of what it was like to have an international 'star' on the books, thanks to MULTIPLE photographers and visiting fans [sometimes watching Ina on the bench.

OTD, 29 Nov 2011: Cardiff City beat Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in the Carling Cup. By doing so they reached the semi-finals for the first time since 1966. The match was first game after the tragic loss of Gary Speed, with the Wales’ boss name sung throughout the game. Goals from Filip Kiss & Kenny Miller

Who wants the #CardiffCity quiet life, eh!? Over the last few days, Pontypridd born / former Swans boss Steve Cooper is let go by the Foxes and seemingly available. Today, Swansea born / former player and Euro 2016 Wales boss Chris Coleman leaves his Cypriot post. Would you take either at 'City?

Thunderbird Blue at 13.5% the sensible, conservative choice over its 17.5% red sibling. The hangovers were grim. All that’s “missing” is a can of Breaker, which had to be drunk with a knife and fork, usually under a bridge somewhere

Steve Cooper shown the door by Leicester City, with his dad Keith a prominent, long term Cardiff City host in years gone by. Imagine if Cooper came to CCS, bringing Alan Tate in the coaching team 😳😂

Well, someone was going to [maybe] do it. The #CardiffCity version of Bluesky vs X. It has to be Robin Friday, one of the most iconic football photos in history

Just dropping this simple Peter Whittingham 1:1 as I'm using it for the #CardiffCity feed icon. The only choice.

Not that it matters, but I don’t like it when people lump Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer together as if it’s the same band, just because of Maynard. It’s not done for vastly different Mike Patton projects. Also, Tool and Puscifer are LEAGUES above APC, even if there were a few decent tracks.

Fair to say that this one doesn’t have a magic hat. Could be wrong though 😂🎩

Ok.. I may have to delete “John Charles” from the Cardiff City feed as it’s too broadly used as a name. “Leo Fortune-West” should be safe though (calling the first BlueSky reference btw)

Ok… now we’re cooking. Crack open the Thunderbird Blue for the @vftninian.bsky.social boys. It’s starting to look a bit more #CardiffCity on here. Now where’s the OG guv’ … Mister Mike Morris??

Crazy that the Battlestar Galactica reboot is twenty years old. Started rewatching recently on old DVDs as no streaming services have it (fools). It really does stand up on all fronts.. and in my view has never been topped in the genre. So good.

Nowhere close to the top guy levels, but I’ve enjoyed my club / agency #smsports journey nonetheless. Well, some of it..! Some odd, dark turns along the way

It begins. A bold move, ideally with other MSM and high profile accounts set to do similar. The replies were as expected on Threads and the X swamp.

I don’t think I’ve listened to any band as much as #Puscifer the last decade. Awesome originals, awesome remixes. Maynard’s best, in my view.

All the best things are blue it seems. Happy to connect with fellow #CardiffCity and #Seahawks fans. Down with X, up with BlueSky and Threads 🔵
