I wish we still had men of his caliber today, because we need one to shake the conscience of this nation like a rag doll and then proffer a hug infused with wisdom.

One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly, and with a willingness to accept the penalty. On one hand, thank you, national weather service! Your dedication to keeping people safe is incredibly useful & underappreciated! But like… Saying something is “severe with a significant threat to life or property” and then saying we might get 1 whole inch of snow seems a little… calamitous. Right?

I’ve seen this meme like 10 times this year already and it’s only the sixth. Look people. Half of Maryland is adjacent to saltwater, so brining the roads is very doable. Also? Why would we want to cut into our Strategic Old Bay Reserve?!? The roads aren’t covered in crabs this time of year!

When I was seven or eight, I had chickenpox. We used to use the words measles and chickenpox interchangeably because we were kids without context. This is the problem with the anti-VAX movement today: no context. 450 dead and 1k cases of encephalitis per year - but out of sight, out of mind, right?

Crypto is great as a means to launder money, participate in human trafficking, and/or fund terrorism. Money that’s harder to trace = “this will be used for crime It’s nice that Trump is just as serious about vetting his business partners as he is about vetting his incoming admin candidates. 🤷‍♂️
