He's promoting the Republican lie that Talarico claimed to be a vegan.

I'm assuming he's talking about Talarico, who never said he was vegan.

The judge said he was a "serial child molester" during sentencing so Hastert was an adjudicated child molester.

💥WTF NPR?!?!?!!! 💥 Are saying he "alleged" that he molested students? Because he admitted in court to doing it.

Look at the WH. 77,303,568 voters decided in 2024 sexual misconduct isn't a problem. I'm confident they still feel the same.

Really? When did Democrats elect a convicted felon, pathological liar and sexual degenerate who not only bragged about sexually assaulting women but also stood at a WH podium and gave moral support to child sex trafficker?

More voters DIDN'T vote for him than did. He won by the smallest margin since 1888, other than 2000. The Silver Bulletin, the most accurate, has him at a net -22.7, 37% approval, 60% disapproval. Worse than Biden this far in who was at -8.8.

The state has no moral authority to kill people who are defenseless, regardless how heinous their crime against another person. Yes, if someone beat and tortured a loved one of mine like that, they better pray they are arrested before I get to them.

LMAO @ "reviving the beating heart of American manufacturing." Now US companies can lose even more market share to vehicles from counties with stricter fuel economy standards than the US, like Europe and Japan. Of course, he can fix that with import tariffs that'll raise the price of US built cars.

Didn't take March to predict it. If someone asked me in 2024, "How do you think Iran will respond if the US launches an unprovoked war against them?" things like this would be on the list.

Sounds not totally unreasonable since it only applies to non-violent convictions.

Only partially true. They follow the rules from the state where you were convicted.

barliman.bsky.social @barliman.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
FL follows the law for where the felony was made. In NY a felony conviction doesn't remove your voting rights until you go to prison.

All he has to do is claim it's at the request of the Pentagon for national security and SCOTUS will rule in his favor.

The only fallacy is people claiming listening is reading. Regardless of what you meant, it's exactly what you said. Listening = reading. I have no issue whatsoever with audio books, other than the ones that are abbreviated. I also have no problem knowing what the definition of "read" is.

I don't get why you're criticized? I have a lot of printed books, maybe 1,000. But I read books in Kindle a good bit too because my phone doesn't hurt as much as a book when I'm reading in bed, start to doze off and it smacks me in the face.

🙄 By your "logic", and that of the OP and some commenters, the fact that I listen to music means I can read music. That's nonsense. I couldn't read music if my life depended on it.

Trump clearly violated 18 U.S. Code § 597. Calling it a "dividend" is just so much BS since it would be paid regardless of who wins, if it wasn't a bribe.

Meanwhile, it was Republicans who cozied up to Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, just two of the several religious fanatics who said nearly 3,000 Americans deserved to die on 9/11. Another one who said it was Osama Bin Laden.

Demonstrable facts are not bullshit. 🙄 First, if a person doesn't vote they are, in fact, not a voter. Second, it's a fact that more voters DIDN'T vote for Trump than did. Third, and most importantly, my most sincere apologies for having a life outside of social media.

I don't have any idea what you're talking about. There was no bribery in his campaign. In fact he campaigned on fighting corruption. The biggest damage was people buying into him being a coward, despite being awarded the DFC in WWII, for opposing the Vietnam war.

I thought for a search warrant to be valid there had to be at least some miniscule evidence a crime was committed. If they can get a search warrant for ballots during the counting, that could just as easily get one for my house just for fun.
