iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

A friend gifted me Elin (Eternal League of Nefia) and I'm enjoying it way too much. Within my first hour of playing I died to exhaustion from crafting too many nails. I apparently just want every game to be Dwarf Fortress or Caves of Qud or similar 😆

Had to take a week off, but I'm back to FFVII! I'm really excited to see where things go. Live now at twitch.tv/baricus

Oh you're enjoying Splatoon Raiders and defeating all the massive salmonoids? Why don't you raid my garage and defeat the massive spider there? 😭

It is once again Mahjong Monday.

Wait did the lazy bastard achievement just get a ton easier in space age? Maybe I should just restart for it... I'm only up to blue science on my horrible lazy-bastard sushi belt save.

Lethal company is just roleplaying corporate slavery. Somehow this is also the plot of animal crossing.

Baricus @baric.us · 15/08/2026

Every time I come back to FFVII, I forget that I'm just lost.

I'm so bad at the minigames in splatoon raiders. Why are they so hard 😭

100

Baricus @baric.us · 06/08/2026

So far Splatoon Raiders is both a good time and I'm really confused why it's a standalone game.

100

Baricus @baric.us · 05/08/2026

I finally got splatoon raiders. I somehow still don't know what this game is which is crazy because all my friends play splatoon. Please don't spoil this one for me 😆 twitch.tv/baricus

Streaming more FFVII today! Just about to cross the ocean (I hope!) twitch.tv/baricus

000

Baricus @baric.us · 23/07/2026

Why aren't computer components called things like "Reality Coprocessor" anymore. We should bring that back

000

Baricus @baric.us · 21/07/2026

Happy mahjong monday to all who celebrate/suffer.

Baricus @baric.us · 20/07/2026

I have a bunch of other stuff I probably should be doing, but I really wanted to play Denshattack! I've been excited for it since the next fest demos. If you want to join me in checking it out, feel free to tune in! twitch.tv/baricus

Baricus @baric.us · 19/07/2026

I played tons of Enter the Gungeon but never once tried the Binding of Isaac. Now I have a whole new (old) roguelike shooter to learn!

000

Baricus @baric.us · 18/07/2026

Going live playing FFVII right now! I just got outside of Midgar and I genuinely thought the whole game was going to be inside that city; I can't wait to see what else is there. twitch.tv/baricus

000

Baricus @baric.us · 14/07/2026

It's Monday, I am contractually obligated to play mahjong.

200

Baricus @baric.us · 13/07/2026

I played the Binding of Isaac for the first time yesterday (thank you summer sale) and I won my first run. I should quit while I'm ahead, right?

000

Baricus @baric.us · 13/07/2026

Why does every microwave have a terrible UI. Surely we should have figured this out by now.

000

Baricus @baric.us · 13/07/2026

Streaming Rhythm Heaven Groove right now! It's my first time playing a Rhythm Heaven game (I somehow skipped the others). twitch.tv/baricus

you just can't trust the vinegar boys.

Baricus @baric.us · 11/07/2026

I'm really bad with horror games, but some friends are letting me join in their brutal company (a lethal company modpack?) run. I'm going to fail so badly. Live now trying not to die at twitch.tv/baricus

000

Baricus @baric.us · 09/07/2026

I've been (intentionally) avoiding info on Splatoon Raiders but I saw a little today and is it just salmon run in a campaign trenchcoat?

200

Baricus @baric.us · 08/07/2026

I'm playing through FFXIV for the first time and now I want to know where to find a hairdresser like that in real life.

120

Baricus @baric.us · 07/07/2026

Is the new star fox worth it? I've never played any of the old ones but it looks fun. Kinda seems like an on rails arcade shooter but those are pretty fun

010

Baricus @baric.us · 07/07/2026

More mahjong because it's Monday! twitch.tv/baricus

000

Baricus @baric.us · 04/07/2026

I finally got everything set up to keep playing FFVII again! I'm playing more of it on stream tonight at 8 CST. twitch.tv/baricus

Baricus @baric.us · 30/06/2026

They're doing re-runs of all the Good Smile Racing die-cast cars... I could buy them...

020

Baricus @baric.us · 28/06/2026

Finally done moving repeatedly so I can start streaming again. Now I just have to figure out what to stream... (-_(\)

Feels like the right time to fill up this pen again. New ink as well!

A Conklin all American re-make pen sitting on a desk mat with a bottle of ink behind it. The pen is rainbow anodized throughout. It is uncapped and the nib is balanced on top. The ink behind the nib is a small, comet shaped bottle of color verse's "red horse, glistening gold" ink for the year 2026. Both are sitting on a dwarf fortress desk mat. Behind them a bit of a keyboard is faintly visible.

Playing it again just taught me I need to practice typing in Latin more. If I can't dictate curses while playing a bullet hell can I really type?

100

Baricus @baric.us · 01/06/2026

Does anyone rember "The Textorcist?" Great way to practice vim bindings 😆

Baricus @baric.us · 26/05/2026

Playing more mahjong tonight to try to get to Adept 3! I don't know how hard it'll be, but I'm hopeful. twitch.tv/baricus
