as much as i hate microsofts ai bullshit and would like to not use windows anymore unfortunately: clip studio. as far as i can tell there just doesn't seem to be a way to get it fully functional on linux and krita just isn't a comparable program

just searched shark on TH. 1 protogen, 16 human guys, 7 cats, 6 dogs, 2 rabbits, 4 dragons, 8 images erroneously posted as characters (the character depicted is a dog), 8 things i couldnt identify, 5 things that were pretty close, and 3 characters i could easily identify as sharks without being told

052

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

giving myself alcohol poisoning by searching "shark" on toyhouse and taking 1 sip of bud light for every character i see that is categorically not a shark

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 07/05/2026

i wish shark furry designs would utilize a wider variety of shark species. even the 5% of the time they look like sharks and not dogs with fins it's always like, great whites or requiem sharks. where's the appreciation for my beloved epaulette shark

if you have a severe or deep wound and it won’t stop bleeding and don’t want to get stitches or go to the hospital, you can go to the hardware store and get some xylene or some naphtha and pour that on it. how it works: it intensifies the pain and will probably threaten your life. It will not help

i like to casually observe various fallouts that occur in the furry fandom and happened to see it mentioned when people on tumblr were talking about some other drama. my friend claire and i watched it and i thought it was novel enough to be hyha material #strawpage <- tagging these so ppl can block

confession: i actually never played the games, but i watched all 120+ hours of john wolfe's playthroughs because some of my friends were fans of the games. my opinion is that it is Okay, but has the homestuck problem of being quantity over quality.

not naming names and no disrespect to the artist in question but theres a popular furry artist whose 2 most used ocs are heavily reminiscent of furrified dan avidans.

im so sick of comics that are retellings of mythology but where the characters all talk like quirky millennials. have we not had enough.

190

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

this will make me sound like an absolute lunatic but i was waiting for a specific artist to make this particular mistake they finally did it. i win.

060

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

do you think. do you think furries would shave their belly fur in specific patterns to fake a six pack

120

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

honestly though i understand im just not the target audience for this because i dont really jive with that aesthetic even on Human People. can we get that man some body fat or like a glass of water at least.

170

forrest @bargainbinbeasts.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

always weirds me out when people draw super chiseled abs on furries whose species that should have thick fur. you shaved them?

keith david's vocals are good but the lyrics are so trite. every single folk punk band ive ever listened to has made a more inspired song about alcoholism.

i watched the first 4 episodes the other week and said i didnt like any of the songs except the evanescence sounding one (and id still rather just listen to evanescence) and was promised husks song in the a later episode was good. and then i got to that episode and it was just okay.
