We were out again today to run a further test with our busking set-up, every time we get closer to more populated areas with more people around. It went well, playing music always does. Bardos is so fluent with live looping everything can be improvised on the spot and it only ever gets easier.

Last piece of advice I’ll give as a generally “unknown artist”, at least to the public population. It’s said you’ll never be ready for something and to just go for it. This is not true. If you’re fully invested in something, you know the greats, you know what works, you’ll know when you get there.

We’ve been doing some practice with specific parts of this mechanism, whether that’s guitar work, vocal harmonies, or syncing different instruments. When it all comes together it becomes not only indistinguishable from other forms of music, it begins to make an entirely new sound.

The reason why I didn’t make a career out of music when I was in my early 20’s was two reasons. The industry is predatory. It harnesses artists to prey on others. To join the industry as a child is putting yourself under their thumb for life. For many that’s a death sentence. I prepared for this.

NFTs also have nothing inherently to do with AI. The blockchain is not AI created or controlled. There are tons of AI generated NFTs but there’s an over-saturation of AI slop everywhere, they’re completely different things and shouldn’t be lumped in the same category. NFTs aren’t the AI bubble.

Just a reminder that NFTs are immutable and permanent. While many people overpaid for NFTs because of hype or fell for scams also because of hype, NFTs are far from worthless. As the blockchain continues to develop, they’ll only become more useful, especially if it’s genuine artwork or collectibles.
