After 462 days of being away from streaming, I'll take this Top 25% notification. 🤣 We've been playing Star Wars The Old Republic and having a blast with a Smuggler in what I'm calling #HotSWTORSummer You should come too! Every weekday at 4:30PM PST across Twitch, YT & Kick!

Finally bit the bullet and broke free of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite today. $800 for what I would be using it for is just too much. Buuut that was kind of impulsive because that's all I've used for a decade plus now. What's out there as good replacements, paid or otherwise?

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 03/06/2026

Sci-fi fan here. Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Quantum Leap, hell I still want a new Sliders. I was SO EXCITED that a new Stargate series was coming, respecting the origins A terrible decision by Amazon. They should sell the rights because they've lost the fandom & won't get it back.

My decade‑old Logitech G600 just kicked the bucket. You were a good mouse. Now I find out they don't make em anymore? 😭 Whose got the MMO Mouse crown these days? I know Razer still has a Naga out there. Anyone know of any other contenders?

Decided to post more over here on BlueSky! I've moved & picked up a new job that'll allow for content creation again soon! Won't be Sea Of Thieves but excited to try something else after 3 years! Also, I had a bout of diverticulitis but down almost 40 lbs (18.1 kg) & I feel so much lighter. 👍

Just a reminder that I'm taking a vacation this week to recharge and re-evaluate the Sea Of Thieves content biz. Thank you for all the birthday wishes over the weekend! 🎉

Everyone else might be fawning over their new #SeaOfThieves pigs but our community knows which pet stands supreme... BANANAQUIT!

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 16/02/2025

The Banana King of the Sea Of Thieves is iconic but this one ain't too bad either I think! The Sea Of Friends Is Real! 😃

Been updating some Sea Of Thieves thumbnails on the Youtube channel... This one, as silly as it is, might be my favorite. 🤣🍌 #seaofthieves

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 08/02/2025

Where are my LOTRO fans? Did you know that you can play in 4K *without* squinting at the text in game? Watch & learn!

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 07/02/2025

Just so that there's clarity here: Mondays have normally been my one day off from streaming but will now be exclusively sponsored stream based. That way fans of Sea Of Thieves (and LOTRO soon!) won't miss out on their favorite content. And Bardcore gets a needed💰 Win/win?

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 01/02/2025

Warring (Hourglass) Wednesdays, Friendship Fridays, Sink Em Saturdays & Shrouded Sundays will remain Sea Of Thieves oriented so don't worry we've got plenty of pirating still in store!

In addition, we're going to be adding a new game into the mix. On Tuesdays & Thursdays we're entering the lands of Middle Earth in Lord Of The Rings Online Been wanting to play an MMO again for a while & LOTRO has been calling to me. Fan of the books, fan of the movies, and soon a fan of the game!

(1/4) Hey everyone, thank you for all your well-wishes and condolences. I'm really grateful for the kindness. I wanted to give the promised update on the streaming schedule: Starting on my return on Feb 4th, streams will start at 10AM EST (UTC-5) and go till roughly 3PM EST. That's 3PM to 8PM GMT.

Jan 28th was my Mom's birthday. She passed away last year. Luckily, I had Bonney Lu by my side all day. She gave me the push I needed to take care of her final wish: spreading her ashes in a beautiful place. Taking the rest of the week off to reflect & get myself on track. Back on Feb 4th. 🫶

The face you make when you install Lord Of The Rings Online for a laugh but then it stays because you're getting hooked...

010

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 18/01/2025

Used to be if you completed 57 individual goals in Sea Of Thieves you used to get a snazzy title by the end of it... Now it's just rep and renown? Por que?

000

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 17/01/2025

Sea Of Thieves... We need to talk. Why, OH WHY... When I want to get one type of weapon out of my armory... There's like a 1/4 chance or slightly higher that the weapon I selected... IS NOT the weapon I end up with? STOP TRYING TO MAKE DOUBLE BARREL PISTOL HAPPEN. 😭

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 17/01/2025

Guess who broke her OTHER dew claw yesterday... Lu & I were up various amounts through the night so taking the day off to make sure the doggo is okay and catching up on the zzzzz.

How many Sea Of Thieves fans are on Bluesky these days? Say hi! 👋

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 06/01/2025

Remember when during certain Sea Of Thieves adventures Belle would *very* different than usual? Always wondered if that was intentional or not...

010

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 04/01/2025

Hey @seaofthieves.com if you ever want to hire any American VO work for the game, I've got referrals. 🤣

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 03/01/2025

So many folks told me in today's Sea Of Thieves stream that they're shocked I'm not bald... Not only am I not bald, here's what I look like with even MORE. The Poodle & I have a similar style! 🤣

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 02/01/2025

If I had one Hourglass update to put in Sea Of Thieves... It'd be a TDM variant. Now hiding from replies...

010

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 02/01/2025

Needing to take a break today. Nothing wrong, just need a reset day! Back with some more Sea Of Thieves Hourglass tomorrow. 👋

Marketing: How about we make a big deal for your face reveal, build it up over several weeks? Me: Sure... Or I do a five second reveal at the end of my New Years' Eve Sea Of Thieves stream wearing my ugly Microsoft sweater. Marketing: But... Me: Did it! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉

050

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 29/12/2024

Just a heads up to those following this account, it's not actually me. Flattered though. 🤣

PSA: Get to Grade 5 Emissary BEFORE starting your Daily Gilded Voyage in Sea Of Thieves. That way, you can sell as you complete each map for max profit instead of keeping all that loot on your ship waiting to sell because your flag isn't there yet. Just some friendly advice!

041

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 18/12/2024

You see the sails on the horizon in Sea Of Thieves. What's your first thought?

100

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 17/12/2024

Regardless of any issues or bugs in Sea Of Thieves there are a few areas where the work is A+ top notch. The musical composition team is one of them. Cheers!

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 17/12/2024

Working on a Sea Of Thieves thumbnail concept right now. I've never noticed it before but it looks like right as your character goes into a disguise the game removes all the "extra" & renders your character in Cursed Graphics. Creepy. Also.... PEEK-A-BOO!

040

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 17/12/2024

Taking a day off stream to work on some offline stuff! Got some things cooking I want to give some attention to before the end of the year. Bardmas continues on Wednesday!

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 16/12/2024

Updated some Sea Of Thieves social media related stuff with this new banner. I call it Ode to Bardcore. 🤣

Been having some great fun with Holiday Haul, meeting pirates in Sea Of Thieves & giving them a small quest to obtain rewards GGs to this fine duo over on NA East who managed to dig up one of my favorite loot items in game, the Skull Of Captain Douglas! WP, enjoy the emotes!

I'll say it here on Bluesky too: That fireworks show is 10/10. Hadn't even thought about whether something like that was even possible. GGs!

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 09/12/2024

So when can we get these types of missions back in Sea Of Thieves? Besides Hourglass, these were the only kind of events that made me feel like there was actually *a war* between The Pirate Lord and Flameheart. Really want to see something like this return in 2025!

030

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 08/12/2024

Sea Of Thieves Guild Distinction 1 SOLO! 🍌

God, starting a Community Management job in the throes of COVID I don't envy you, j0. But you've made your mark for sure on the Sea Of Thieves & its (sometimes rambunctious) pirates. 😉🥂

020

Jon Bardcore @bardcore.gg · 07/12/2024

Not only are we hitting Distinction One as a Solo Guild in Sea Of Thieves tmrw we'll probably cross the threshold to apply for Twitch Partner! Whether there's a green light or not on the first attempt, I'm thrilled in the progress in streaming since September! Thank you!
