Gorgeous. I went to Capital Reef as a teenager. We spent a few weeks in the Southwest and saw many amazing parks and this was one of my favorites. We harvested apricots in the orchards the Mormons had planted. Good pancakes!

Ok, this is giving me PTSD from the time my ex-husband (we were just dating at the time) said he was behind on his mortgage because when he paid bills he had less money in his checking account. 🙄 Yes, I married him, but took control of the budget. Jackass. (Both of us, I guess.) 😊

I just saw a mama possum walking the back fence with at least 2 babies on her back. 😊 I have seen her before in the back yard looking pregnant, checking for leftover stray cat food but I don’t think she was dependent on that. Good to see her doing well.

I read the book and it was kind of dark, lots of philosophical-ish bits, some humor. When I heard there was a movie and it was a ‘family movie’ I was skeptical, but they did a great job with the movie. I enjoyed it so much. 🐏 🐑

Seeing the set, the cast, the musicians perform the play I saw live, with the benefit of cameras was a treat. A good chunk of the primary characters were performed by the original Broadway cast, those voices I listened to and sung along with over and over, it was so good. It’s an old song…

I saw the Hadestown movie today and it was outstanding. Now, I admit, I saw it on the stage in SF in 2023 and immediately bought the original Broadway cast recording and obsessively listened to its million times…
