I have now added a 3-player mode, also known as Sanma! This marks release v1.1 of my Resonite Riichi Mahjong table. This will probably be the last “big” feature update I make, until official wasm support unlocks the Shanten computation (or my mental state deteriorates enough that I consider […]

**90th Linux Resonite Meetup!** Thanks everyone for joining us in that classic sandbox world! #LinuxResonite #Linux #VR #Resonite #Resonux

A group of about two dozen diverse, stylized 3D avatars is gathered in a grassy environment with visible buildings and an orange storage container.
This is a map originally ported from the sandbox platform Garry’s Mod.
Off to the left side, between some avatars and the storage container, a UI panels displays the distribution of the OS used by the users in the session: 9 Windows users (21%) and 20 Linux users (69%).

@LinuxResonite **89th Linux Resonite Meetup!** Thank you all for joining us today at the MA campus! #LinuxResonite #Linux #VR #Resonite #Resonux

A group of about a dozen diverse, stylized 3D avatars is gathered on an ornate wooden platform in the middle of a lush pine forest.
There is an elegant rug with iridescent color patterns in the middle of the platform, where the avatars are standing. In the background, there are many items pertaining to the Metaverse Academia or to the Resonux community.
On the top, above the avatars, a UI panels displays the distribution of the OS used by the users in the session: 4 Windows users (18%), 17 Linux users (77%), and a user using an unknown OS.

A group of about a dozen diverse, stylized 3D avatars is gathered in a jurassic land.
The ground is muddy, and there are many palm trees behind the avatars. We can also see a picture of a Konqi plush on the left side, and a UI panel presenting the Resonux community on the right side.
On the top right, above the avatars, a UI panels displays the distribution of the OS used by the users in the session: 1 Windows users (7%) and 14 Linux users (93%).

Anything depending on shanten computations (riichi / tsumo / ron call hints) as well as yaku computations will not be part of V1, though. The algorithms just seem too daunting to implement in Flux, it makes my head spin just thinking about it. I will likely either never do it, or wait for WASM […]

On the gameplay side, I only need to implement closed kan and added kan calls for it to be fully playable (by players who know the rules). However, for V1, I’d also like to add a score display, as well as a manual scoring entry system. It will probably take the shape of a form to input the end […]

**87th Linux Resonite Meetup!** Thanks everyone for joining us today in the Warehouse! #LinuxResonite #Linux #VR #Resonite #Resonux

A group of about twenty diverse, stylized 3D avatars is gathered on a purple vaporwave environment. Their nameplates are visible, but there are too many to list them all.
The ground is a black and purple gridspace. In the background, there is an impossible spectacle of three suns in a night starry sky, with the suns somehow looking like sunsets over the ocean despite being above the horizon. Jagged black and purple mountains partially obscuring the largest of these suns.
On the top left, above the avatars, a UI panels displays the distribution of the OS used by the users in the session: 2 Windows users (9%) and 21 Linux users (91%).

Most avatars are standing in the pool or flying above the water. In the bottom left corner, there is a sphere made of the same tiles as the walls, and a few avatars are peeking out from behind it.
