I was so excited to get my new book today! When I left the dregs of Meta and twitter, there were a few creators I knew I would miss. Im so grateful @blackforager.bsky.social has a YouTube channel! Not that google is that much better, but baby steps.

A beautiful zinnia I saw on my trashwalk today. Sadly, I found even more chick-fin-a garbage. I wish they would stop using Styrofoam cups 5.83lb/2.14mi @chickfila.bsky.social

Every 20 years or so my skippy heartbeat causes my doctor to be concerned. I jump through all the medical hoops “just to be certain” and it’s always nothing. Getting my chest shaved is always strange.

I took Nedra to see Hamilton at the Fabulous Fox for her birthday. It was my first time seeing it and I was honestly blown away. Maybe I’m a musicals guy after all?

A gardenia bloom I saw after my trashwalk today. It’s actually next to my carport; grown from a vase of blooms I accidentally rooted about 20 years ago. Now the bush is about 8 feet tall. I’m a terrible gardener but this was a rare success 6.12lb/2.27mi

I’ve lived in my house for 32 years and this is the first deer I’ve seen. The road is closed down the hill at the creek so I guess that’s where she same from. My neighbor saw her fawn in her yard

A rubber cross, an organ, and a tag I saw on my trashwalk today. I’m always sad no one wants pianos and organs anymore—I desperately wanted a piano as a child but they were too expensive back in the 1960s. We finally got one when I was a teenager 1.22mi/9.73lb
