Deffo feeling that post holiday dip, although it‘s nice to be home to my own bed, also missing the good company.

All booked in for NFC, will be nice to go back and cause some more mischief. Goal for next years convention, no falling down a flight of stairs!

Yush, they certainly need some help with the UX for sure. Wonder if it still throws an error to tell you when you’ve switched queues…

It puts you further ahead in the approvals queue then someone signing up now but you’ll still be in a queue behind others. They’d solve half their queries by just letting people know where they are in various queues tbh

…refuse to treat it as urgent then go, oh shit this is bad and when I ask why they waited so long they just kind of shrug as if I’m the one dragging my feet. Considering this has been ongoing for months now and they refuse to proactively monitor things and act like I’m making it up every time I…

Seriously my GP couldn’t arrange a piss up in a brewery. Been trying to sort out stuff for something like eight weeks, a week and a half after they finally got my blood test results back had my follow up appointment and they said I needed to go urgently to A&E to have some medication…

Just 3D printing the blanks for below the mattress line on the light up headboard idea I’ve had for the bed, looks quite nice when off as well. Pretty chuffed with it as a vibe~

…needs some work to maintain from both sides. And it’s alright to have acquaintances as well who you’d happily chat to but more when you’re at the same place. But yeah, dunno what I wanted to say here tbh, the thought has escaped me xD

Been realising lately that there’s a few friendships where I’ve been doing all the heavy lifting on things and with the exhaustion I’ve just been not bothering recently and letting things drift a bit. Not every friendship can be a close one, have realised that over the years, and every friendship…

Been doing up the bedroom slowly over the last couple of months, mostly there now, just need to sort out a few smaller bits of DiY, tidy up a bit but now the majority is done feel I can be a bit chill with the last pieces~

I know this is just a normal thing & I’ve been in a very weird world for most of my life but it’s nice to just buy clothes for myself you know, based on what I want instead of having to worry about it being shared & matching someone else's tastes. Now if only I could find comfortable trousers xD

Been an incredibly long day with work being extra busy on top of other things, but the new bed is here and the bedding for it is in the wash at the moment. I still need to 3D print some bits and sort out a bedside table, but overall a productive day.

I did post to Stray as well, but Stepchange is very good. Also Martin Lewis has a good section on debt as well with links to various charities that provide free advice and assistance. www.stepchange.org Sorry I can’t provide any help myself.

www.stepchange.org Sorry I got the name wrong but their website is here. I think they’re recommended by Martin Lewis as well, but MoneySavingExpert has some good links to other debt relief charities as well.

(2/2) …get anything done because it was their way or they’d just sit and argue for hours and it just made me miserable.

Baloki @baloki.arctic-fox.rocks · 15/08/2026

(1/2) Going to be an unpopular opinion but if they’re making life hell for everyone else on the team by “pushing back on everything” then honestly they’re a problem no matter if they’re neurodivergent or not. Been there with teammates like that where every hill is one to die on and I couldn’t…
