Being a caretaker for a friend's first time at a "big con" and first babyfur event reminded me how much I love taking care of littles. Nothing can replace that special bond created when someone entrusts their little headspace to you. 🧡🍼

Why am I starting to feel little in the hospital omg. It slipped early this morning when a nurse asked if I wanted water and I said "pease" instead of "please" normally I have white coat phobia, but now the idea of being in this situation with thicker pants wouldnt be so bad

I know it's probably frustrating to most caregivers, but I like the idea of a non verbal little who solely communicates by pointing or gesturing things. Also occasionally writes it down a simple 1-2 word question or answer on a piece of paper or their paw.

Looking back on the year, I think the biggest discovery I had of myself was knowing how much I enjoy headspaces. If I can get you or you get me to leave reality for a bit and just enjoy a mutual space that makes sense to us, then I'm more than happy.

Saddened to find out the duck pond I mentally return to as a safe space got drained and removed and replaced with just some fountain. Going there and feeding the ducks was a memorable activity I enjoyed doing when I was an (actual) kid. That pond always had ALOT of ducks It'll be sorely missed 😟
