iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Six days ago, to be precise. It's the post I made before publishing the battle pig.

I didn't delete it, I can see it just fine. It's in black and white from a few days ago. Also, check if you have the setting enabled to view sensitive content. Back then, I mistakenly thought the label was required for BDSM content too.

I'm trying to channel my energy into you, but I have to be careful not to overexert myself, or I risk crapping my pants. Just kidding, I'm right here with you 🫂 🫂🫂

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. I’m always curious to know about the journey of those who have been in the community for years. I basically just opened this profile 5 months ago. I'm still a newbie 😊

Just curious, had you been planning to design your fursona like this for a while, or is it a recent idea?

Yes, I reposted the WIP a few days ago! I was still working on it back then.

True! The ballpoint pen is the closest ink tool to a pencil. I actually prefer it because it gives a slightly more graphic effect, and it doesn't need a fixative when I use watercolors over it. But this time I've decided to try something different!

Battle Pig - Colored Version I had never digitally colored one of my ballpoint pen drawings before, so I decided to run some tests. #furry #furryart

Thank you! Once I get the chance, I’ll try some more complex drawings

Beautiful. It makes me laugh so much that it takes many, many, many seconds before he finally decides to cover his eyes

But in the end, I always reach the same old conclusion: just draw however the fuck you want! 😁

With a ballpoint pen, on the other hand, I feel much freer and don't have to clean up anything, but the whole thing gets way more messy and chaotic, and I lose a lot of precision, which doesn't always work...

BALDdog @bald-dog.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I have to admit, I’m really torn. I love markers because the look is cleaner and more graphic, but I waste so much time cleaning up the lines and fixing scanner smudges...

Yeah, it's so much fun! I really love giving characters a more animal-like appearance, so I always try to keep their realistic species sizes. I hope you'll enjoy my other works too!

Thanks, and I’d love to make it even crazier by trying to make the lines even rougher. And I’m so happy when I see someone who already knows how to do it. 😁

BALDdog @bald-dog.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Same here. In digital, I mostly use flat colors and very few layers. I'm learning too! I love pencils, but I prefer ballpoint pens because they give a more graphic look and don't require a fixative before adding color (they’re very similar anyway, and they work great with watercolors 😊).

BALDdog @bald-dog.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I absolutely love it! On the other hand, I love drawing with ballpoint pens and often use them alongside watercolors, but I still haven't found a way to adapt that to digital coloring. It's something I would really love to learn.
