Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Super Metroid X-Fusion As a romhack, absolutely incredible. It's honestly mindblowing how much work went into this. A real passion project. That being said, has some INCREDIBLY frustrating game design. It follows the trend of Romhackers making everything way too difficult for no discernable reason. 120 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 21/09/2026SPOILERS FOR FIRE EMBLEM FORTUNES WEAVE I'm kind of blown away by the voice acting in this support dialogue. Like, we've come SO far since Awakening 010 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 14/09/2026fondly remembering the shinespark puzzle that gave me so much trouble in Metroid Dread that I clipped it and saved it on my PC when I finally pulled it off. I hope Ravenous has puzzles like this 120 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Xenoverse 3 looks so good. This one gif is more expressive than our character ever got to be in Xenoverse 1 or 2 000 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Dungoens and Cat What a mess of a game. Good gameplay. Music that is mediocre except for the like, four times it pops the fuck off. Story that is just a series of unresolved plot threads up until the game just.... ends, without even attempting to address any of them. It was fun though. 100 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 03/08/2026I love going through random sidequests I forgot about and seeing NPCs just say shit like this. I love interconnected worldbuilding. 010 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 23/07/2026To be a Dragon Ball fan for a moment, oh my god this is amazing. We get OG Dragon Ball versions of some characters and they're ACTUALLY STYLIZED TO LOOK LIKE OG DRAGON BALL ART. 020 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Digging a Hole yadda yadda This one was kind of lame. Remember A Game About Digging a Hole? Yeah this is the same thing but worse and one dollar cheaper. The music (one song) was pretty good but the gameplay was just a less interesting version of its counterpart and the ending was predictable. 5/10. 100 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 08/07/2026This being one of the last tracks that plays in the game is doing things 2 me. (It's a remix of the first game's character select/creation music) I love you Xenoverse. 000 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 08/07/2026my secret thats not a secret is that under the Final Fantasy I am a huge Dragon Ball fan and Xenoverse 2 has fueled that so much. I have a majin girl named Argie and shes everything 2 me. The first OC that ever truly inhabited a permanent space in my brain. I've been thinking about her for a decade. 021 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Xenoverse 2 FSC4 Extended: I think Fu is genuinely one of my favorite Dragonball characters now. I cannot think of any character from Super or GT or any post-Z material that I enjoyed the writing of more than him. I already liked him from the previous DLCs but man. Chapter 4 sealed it. 110 0
Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: Future Saga Chapter 4 Fantastic. Wonderful. The best, most fitting ending to this game that I could have envisioned. It's exactly what you'd expect and that's exactly what I wanted. I am genuinely going to miss this game's constant DLC so much. 110 0

Baku @bakubread.bsky.social · 24/05/2026shoutouts to the One (1) singular Mithra Sculpt mod that existed for XIV pre-dawntrail. I did a whole playthrough of ARR->STB with it, and the creator disappeared off the face of the internet DT dropped and it never got an update.
