Jester is busy pouting... An unfortunate accident has left V without a laptop so repairs in the works. Thankfully, while a bit of backend delay, the game is still set to release on Oct 31st as planned! Jester just wishes it was sooner... #ToFoolAFool #TFaF #TFaFJester #digitalart #visualnoveldev

The Good King Charles rules his land with a just and deft hand. Or so they say. Jester however, would tell you otherwise. Please enjoy this first look at our king hard at work, (we think). #ToFoolaFool #Yandere #IndieGame #Otome #VisualNovel #TFaF #VN #indiedev #renpy #jester

A Court Jester dressed in White, Black and two shades of purple with golden bells. his left hand is raised in front of his chin. His right arm crossed over his stomach, in his right hand theres a staff or cane with a theatrical mask with a court jester hat and trim that match the Jester's own outfit. Behind him are 21 grey cards labelled from one to twenty two randomly behind him.

Everybody is getting their own fun custom background in the game because I (V) am a gemini and like Icarus i fly too close to the sun and now realize my folly too late. (It's looking cool though) #ToFoolaFool #Yandere #IndieGame #Otome #VisualNovel #TFaF #VN #indiedev #renpy #jester

In 'To Fool a Fool', we had a unique vision in mind for our UI and graphics and that was to pull from historic illuminated manuscript art. Here, is our current WIP for the Chapter 1 banner that you'll see in demo #ToFoolaFool #Yandere #IndieGame #Otome #VisualNovel #TFaF #VN #indiedev #renpy #jester

As you play the story of TFaF, you'll naturally have to make some choices. Not all choices however, are without consequence. From dragons, to bandits, to a King's rage, your story could end anytime. #ToFoolaFool #Yandere #IndieGame #Otome #VisualNovel #TFaF #VN #indiedev #renpy

While our sprites are being baked, we still have to code the scenes and story. So, placeholders get used. For our loveable jester, we went with a team favorite.

A red doodle made on white background of a jester. I made it with a mouse around 1:30 am so we could get the VIBE.
