I very much enjoy that 40€ is almost the default "older game ported to Switch 2" game price. It's not too much but still perfectly valid for a AAA game.

if bsky doesn't change the resolution, then this should be the snippet I took at 1273x910 out of a 4k video on a 4k screen. Do your own counting if you wish

BakaKuma // Robsi! @POLARIS Hamburg!! @bakakuma.tv · 28/09/2026

in case anyone cares, ElAnalistaDeBits published a Witcher 3 comparison video which was uploaded at 4K. They claim the game is running at 1080p but the video is sharp enough in some areas to allow for pixel counting, which I did It came out at 13 steps on a 20 pixel sample, thats 1404p

This news would get more clicks if you would've mentioned the exact thing everyone is waiting for custom sabers. they're finally coming.

BakaKuma // Robsi! @POLARIS Hamburg!! @bakakuma.tv · 23/09/2026

sir your link leads to the existing pixross game, not the remaster :(

Have fun with the new Layton remake. I can't bring myself to buy level 5 slop.

010

BakaKuma // Robsi! @POLARIS Hamburg!! @bakakuma.tv · 10/09/2026

Just Monster Hunter Wilds looks very weird since it's a smaller box, yet the logo doesn't span the whole width. Other capcom games look just fine.

They literally made a new logo for the German market to squish it next to the giant USK Logo

021

BakaKuma // Robsi! @POLARIS Hamburg!! @bakakuma.tv · 10/09/2026

Kinda sucks that the German USK logo has to be a certain size, which makes it look even bigger on the smaller Switch and Switch 2 boxes Due to that, a lot of Games need to adjust their logo position in Germany (or make the logo WAYYYY smaller) Usually I prefer the bottom logo, but this time... hm!
