My son is in 8th grade when we went to HS orientation they said “if you want to play a sport you have to try out. It’s very competitive so we are not going to teach you how to play.” This includes things like track and field, tennis and golf that they don’t teach in younger grades. Madness.

The best part about my Dad being on the spectrum is his lack of sentimentality. Other than a handful of items (power tools & audio equipment) designated to go to specific community groups he says “when I die, bury me, lock the door of my home & sell it as is” I’m the executrix so I’ll do just that.

I’d increase my workouts because unseasoned food is not it. I had a friend tell me stop using burnt brown sugar to brown peas to mek peas & rice cuz it ain’t good for you. I just make it less often cuz I not sacrificing flavor.
