Primary 1 worked together to build their very own plane. Children found Scotland on the globe and couldn’t believe how small the United Kingdom was. 🌍 Children made a map for the pilot to follow to fly to Italy, then added seats and windows to the plane and enjoyed testing it out! ✈️

P1 worked together to build their very own plane. Children used fantastic teamwork, discussion and problem-solving and added labels onto their plane. Children explored Flight Radar and were amazed by all the planes flying around the world! We then used a globe to find different countries. 🌍✈️

A group of Primary 1s worked together to build a castle with the small blocks! Children were resilient and persevered as the blocks kept falling, but they didn’t give up! They rebuilt, tried again and worked together to create their castle. They even identified the cylinders used in their design. 😊

Today P1 created their very own cafe. Children used their knowledge of sounds to label menus and made signs to communicate a message. Children created their own colouring-in sheets for the cafe using detailed drawings as well as number and matching games for the waiting area. 😊
