My hoomans have been a bit slack this week as i've been keeping them up all night and on their toes all day ... Leaving my litter was a bit unpleasant, but i'm starting to feel a lot more safe and secure in my new home

8 DAYS TO GO! 🤍🐾 Okay… another tiny clue. 😏 He’s fluffy. He’s growing ridiculously quickly. And yes… HE’S WHITE. 🤍👀 That’s ALL you’re getting today. 😂 Although judging by those paws, “little white puppy” may not last long. #PuppySecret #GuessTheBreed

9 DAYS TO GO! 🤍🐾 We’re officially into single digits — and keeping this secret is getting harder. 👀 There’s a name inside that envelope and somewhere in the litter is the little fellow growing into it. Soon, we can finally reveal both. ❤️ #PuppyCountdown #PuppySecret

10 DAYS TO GO! 🐾🤍 We’ve established that the paws are growing. The question is… how big are they planning to get? 👀😂 We suspect “little puppy” may be a VERY temporary description. Tiny paws for now. Big paws incoming. 😏🐾 #PuppyCountdown #PuppySecret

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

We know the breed. We know the litter. We know we’re getting a boy. 🐾 We just don’t know which puppy is ours yet. Why? Apparently, we’re waiting for testicles. 😂 Somewhere in that litter is our little bloke… nature just needs to finish the paperwork. 🤣🤍

We weren’t looking for just any dog. 🐾 Calm, clever, loyal, trainable, family-focused… and maybe just a little majestic. A dog for country life who could grow into a steady companion. The wishlist became a plan. Now the countdown is very real. ❤️ #PuppyCountdown #NewPuppy #ComingSoon

What’s in a name? 🐾 We wanted something warm, memorable and full of character — a name to suit a little puppy now and the big dog he’ll become. One name just felt right. But we’re not telling you yet. 😈 #PuppySecret #NewPuppy #ComingSoon #PuppyCountdown 🐾

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

A Maremma could suit the chickens and geese beautifully—but we wanted more than an independent outdoor guardian. Our priority was a close indoor companion, responsive training partner and possible assistance dog. The animals fitted; the central human partnership did not. Final clue. 🐾

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Huskies are beautiful, athletic and born to explore. With farm fencing, elderly cats, chickens and geese, independent decision-making, recall and prey drive made the risk calculation uncomfortable. We wanted shared adventures—not regular fence-engineering competitions. 🐾 #WhichBreed

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Samoyeds are cheerful, social and spectacularly fluffy. Grooming was not the deal-breaker; vocal enthusiasm, independent spitz thinking, recall and the kind of quiet off-switch we wanted mattered more. A joyful temptation—but not quite our communication style. 🐾 #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed

011

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

The Dogue de Bordeaux combines substantial presence with a soft, devoted nature. Health, heat tolerance, joint care, drool and a sadly short lifespan weighed heavily for us. We wanted the best chance of many active years together. A practical decision, not a criticism. 🐾 #WhichBreed

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

A well-bred Cane Corso can be calm, devoted and impressively protective. We wanted a confident alert companion, not the management responsibility of a serious guardian in every visitor and public situation. Sometimes too much of a desired trait is still the wrong fit. 🐾 #WhichBreed

020

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Japanese Akitas offer dignity, loyalty and quiet presence. For our goals, their independence, possible prey drive and dog selectivity could complicate recall, poultry safety and assistance-style public work. Magnificent dogs; our partnership needed a different rhythm. 🐾 #WhichBreed

010

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

The German Shepherd came very close: loyal, intelligent, trainable and watchful. We wanted that shepherd partnership, but with a softer companion emphasis, stable temperament and carefully selected health and structure. This one may be a clue. 😉🐾 #TheWishList #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Golden Retrievers tick many boxes: friendly, trainable and people-focused. We also wanted a naturally watchful presence and calm social neutrality. Not necessarily a new best friend for everyone at the gate. Close, but not quite our complete combination. 🐾 #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Greyhounds can be gentle, quiet champion nappers—a very tempting combination. But with elderly cats, chickens, geese and farm fencing, prey drive and recall added uncertainty we were not comfortable ignoring. Lovely dogs; complicated fit for our home. 🐾 #TheWishList #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed

010

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

The Great Dane came close to the dream: affectionate, calm and reassuringly substantial. But giant size changes transport, care, handling and ageing—and the shorter lifespan was hard to overlook. We needed the gentle presence in a more manageable package. 🐾 #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed

000

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Miniature Schnauzers are clever, sturdy and excellent little watchdogs. For us, terrier chase instincts and enthusiastic alerting needed careful thought around elderly cats, chickens and geese. We needed a slightly different balance. 🐾

010

bailey-pupper.bsky.social @bailey-pupper.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Small dogs were considered. Cavaliers offer wonderful affection and adaptability, but we also wanted more physical presence at the gate and a dog suited to two country acres. A beautiful breed—just not our complete match. 🐾 #TheWishList #FindingOurFourPaws #WhichBreed
