Facebook seems desperate to keep my engagement by notifying me of recent posts from literally fucking anything at this point. "Hey, check out this post you liked 2 days ago". Yeah, thanks for that.

Bit of a trim. It’s already warming up and I had a wedding on, so why not?

The new Resident Evil film is fucking awesome. I could watch Abrams stumble his way through bullshit all night. Might be my favourite video game adaptation now. Just fantastic.

This enters Early Access on Friday and I am so excited to play it. The art style is amazing and it plays like Slay the Spire + Inscryption. There's a demo available, too! Get on it!

Metal Gear Solid 4 on modern hardware... Aah... This was long, long overdue.

Darkest Dungeon, now a 10-year-old game, just got some new DLC! Amazing. ... Back to the estate I go.

The Bingham Cup is on and there are some rather good-looking fellows in town for it. Alas, I have caught a cold. Just my luck. 😅

Been rewatching the X-Men films, which means I have to watch Last Stand now. Ugh.

Went axe throwing for a buck’s party today. I did far better than I expected, so that was nice.

Gotten back into Street Fighter 6. I play a pretty mean Ken. 😎

Going to give Final Fantasy XIV Online another go. I haven’t played since whatever the second expansion was. Lol.

Either Terminator Genisys (2015) or Justice League (2017).

Hello. Just a quick health update. I’ve been feeling pretty good the last couple of weeks. Things are finally getting back to normal. Let’s keep going, please. 😎

G’day. I want to talk to YOU, the reader, about antidepressants. If you’ve had experience with them, could you please get in touch? Can shoot me a message or respond here—whatever you are most comfortable with. Thank you. 😁

260

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Feeling much better. I’m over the cold, the infection has cleared and I went to the bathroom like a relatively normal person this afternoon.

2220

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

On top of the post-colonoscopy issues, I’ve caught a cold. LOL. What fucking goddamn horrible luck. At this point all I can do is laugh about it.

480

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Still sick following the colonoscopy, with little improvement. I surmise the fever was from anxiety, but I still have other symptoms that aren’t great. At least I have lost weight. Lol. I am waiting on some tests I had Friday to come back. For now, I lay in bed and watch movies and One Piece.

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

I was so preoccupied with the colonoscopy that I forgot to celebrate the 30th birthday of this masterpiece (released on 7th May, 1996). This is Pantera's best album and perhaps the finest groove metal album ever—all bangers.

The Great Southern Trendkill album cover.

I’ve been sick since the colonoscopy. It’s not much fun.

8100

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

The colonoscopy was a success. No issues whatsoever. My butt is as pretty on the inside as it is on the outside. 🍑

1300

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

I feel like complete fucking shit. The colonoscopy bowel prep is brutal. Just 1L to go and then I go under in about 6 hours.

8210

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Ugh. I start a low fibre diet today for my colonoscopy next week. It’s going to be a loooong few days.

1110

Chris @bagingi.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

I saw 'Hokum' tonight with some friends. I thought it was amazing. It was scary AF and it told a great story. McCarthy's best work yet.

It is a travesty that they didn't remake Dead Space 2, also.

I umm… I drew Sonic the Hedgehog using a mouse last night.

Went up a big ol’ mountain yesterday. This was Ben Lomond NP in Tasmania. It was very impressive. Photos don’t do it justice.

It me, David and Greg on Jacob’s Ladder.

Yo! I’ve made it down to Tasmania once again. Took a quick drive around North West Bay to Coningham in the arvo. Lovely as usual.

I'm now up to episode 470-something in One Piece and I don't intend to stop anytime soon. The last 80 or so episodes have been absolutely stellar and this current arc is just spectacular. It feels like the culmination of so many things that've happened throughout the series. It's very exciting.
