I finally got a chance to check stats and confirm what my eyes told me during the Fever's season. If you divide it into "Before Sophie's transphobic quote to ESPN" and "After," her stats drop off notably in the "after." 40% drop in PPG, her 3pt% drops from what was once a near-the-top >> #wnba

In sports especially, modesty is overrated. Excelling is about confidence & inspiring confidence from teammates - and that confidence intimidating opponents. Few big-name NFL WRs are modest.
