Yesterday I shared a Reel asking, “What if God isn’t angry with you?” That question comes from a very real place for me. For a long time, some of my beliefs about God produced far more fear than freedom—the fear of believing the wrong thing, asking the wrong question, or somehow disappointing God.

Is false witness still false witness when it helps our side? “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” is one of the Ten Commandments. I don’t remember there being an exception for election season, culture wars, or people we may not understand. 🤷‍♂️ 👇️

Our theology produces something in us that we live out, certain fruit if you will. Good theology will produce kindness, among other "fruits of the Spirit." However, bad theology can produce unkindness, even hatred of others rather than love, what the Bible calls the "works of the flesh". 👇️

Are people problems to solve—or neighbors to love? Sometimes Christians can become so focused on correcting someone’s beliefs, behavior, politics, identity, or life choices that we forget there is an actual person standing in front of us. What do I mean by that? 👇️
