Alt: he always meows softly when we first get in the car but he soon settles down and sleeps the whole way. This is our third trip to the countryside with him. At first he hid under the sofa but now he actually roams around (even if he's still a bit aloof). It gets pretty busy here so we usually set him up in his own room. He's gotten so comfortable in there now that he naps peacefully without being disturbed 💜
