I also regularly visited and purchased from the business during this time to support it. but all of the purchases of the hardware were made using cash in vastly different regions of the USA while I was travelling just for extra tradecraft. Some areas, this is the only way information gets out.

if someone hooked another usb device or a display, the HPD system would trigger a poweroff now process that would shut the system down, also destroying it. It was plugged in and pre-loaded with the SSID and WPA information for the target location's free public wifi.

it was set up with an encrypted disk, and a set of scripts on first boot that would wait for the system to finish booting, wait 2 minutes for it to settle, then it would move the OS and running processes to the RAMdisk, then zero out the whole storage system. powering down would just leave it blank.

The fun frustration: I had to build this device twice, because in order for an end-to-end test of the methods, it involved testing the self destruct. It worked, so basically when i unplugged this pi, the OS was running on a RAM disk that vanished when power was removed.

a few years ago i built a computer with an amnesia trigger to release an album of cyberpunk music through an anonymous drop out in public. If someone tampered with it, it would erase itself. If people could grab the torrent in time, they got the music for free. badguysgetdead.com/resistor/

I am playing thru skyrim for the 4th time. This time i’m an orange and black Kajiit named Garfield. I have only allowed him so far to eat health items that go into lasagna: eidar cheese, flour, garlic, tomato, salt, beef/venisom/skeever. He hates Mondays.

The darkness removes certain stimuli and takes them internally and what you cannot see with your eyes become so much more in your mind.
