It feels like a prequel to a more interesting game that'll never get made. And like, Logan getting over his shit and adopting a teenage mutant is what a lot of us like about him, but that doesn't make for really intriguing video game action. Much better in visual formats.

You're so completely spot on. I didn't engage with that game's systems, I either floundered constantly or dominated entirely depending on resource management. It never felt like I was just barely getting by, which is when that genre normally feels best.

Following up on this post, #comicbooks are NOT easy to get into. I have read all the X-Men I could find at three different libraries and "just jump in where things sound cool" is so deeply unsatisfying. You can always tell there are stories and context you're missing.

I'm a badger for so many reasons. I work a non-tech but still professional job, I'm like 15 years older than most of my friends, I've got a tummy, and I can be a bit of a grump. I grew up in the Badger State (WI) and have always felt connected to them, even before I knew about furries.
