yeah fair tmux is very much one of those "batteries not included" programs the thing i don't like about "batteries included" software is it tends to prefer shoving the author's opinions down my throat rather than letting me configure stuff

this kinda just furthers my point; like 80% of these are "wow look at the weird stuff that happens when i do math on non-numbers" it's always things that you ~never run into while using the language (save for a few like '==', but that's what linters are for)
