Sun setting over a vibrant sea

surf pounds to the island shore with glee

streams of light glistening in crimson and gold

a vision of natural beauty to behold...

tidal connections, leaving reflections

rippling across the living reef

nature's own vitality, a scene seen in reality

tempestuous beyond belief...

as each wave, waives its right to delight

to the next vibrant one in line

boiling and bubbling, toiling and troubling

on the surface seemingly so sublime...

this is the view, for me and you

as we sit stunned, open-mouthed and gander

silently still as the oceans power doth thrill

from our sunkissed seats on the veranda...

my poem -
Life is but a circus as we are all lost creatures,
mistreated by the ringmasters, caged, hidden, scared
until let loose under the lights to be laughed at
and derided, whip-cracked, sacked and downtrodden.

This emporium for the rich nose-pickings, sickening trapeze artists awaiting the call before their fall, back-broken and soaked in derision by the clowns who rule, juggling their monied batons, to beat us, mistreat us, no fuss, no thought, swords swallowed.

Last gasp fire-breathing, dousing the big tops intent, now content to pretend lament, odious smiles now defiled, laughter suppressed, magician depressed, as the frauds we all laud lead the final bow into into obscurity and pain, just this weary world circus remains, into its bequestered final refrain...

Bound, yet degrees reprieved, spilled
Found set in freedom at will
Where dreams are well worn
And desires are still born
Bare passion, so apposite
Bear inaction, so opposite
Planetary extinction with no distinction
Is humanity so inhumane?

Part of and old painting of mine with frosty mountain peaks, a sunset to die for and some foliage that surrounds.

Poem - From the gilt edged hillslopes
to the dew dampened dell
I seek more than nature’s beauty
of this island, so sweet, so swell

I roam deep in the meadows
of green-sward delights
I stand in the purity shadows
of the sun and moonlight
tracing the path, just an aftermath
pacing without wrath, musked thoughts
past
collected reflections in shimmering lakes
expected selection of simmering breaks
the dawn arisen with scent infused vision
forlorn frisson, soul spent free inhibitions

then I spy you…
lain, not yet slain in the corner afar
perspiration falling, musky and scarred
with the lust unspent, the need to relent
and release with freedom of desire
seeking the heat of lust inspired

In my arms, in this dewy idyll
we frolic, with so much love to spill
and from our corner, seemingly afar
we open the doors, last left just ajar
in hope, in need, in passion extreme
for our creed extant, no longer repentant
we stoke the fierce fires of our dreams…

Another of my misty moon at night photos - they do make great backgrounds for some of my scribbles!

Poem -
Mists rove across desolate fields
the air filled with vibrant electricity
the moonlight lost behind whispered cloud
shadows lost in solitude and selectivity
wildly you roam, chill sweat to your brow
the heavy breath extant is solely your own
rolling images of self-imagined fear
for this feeling that is not alone
as sombre clouds disperse unrefined
appearing across the hilltop profiled stark
a carriaged horse rattles on behind
glimpsed through distant lightning
and emblazoning the midnight dark
you stop, but heart-beats pound on
frozen in the moment of approach
stilled by the frisson fine
of the now silent coach
the horse all-a-saliva
the carriage with no driver
invites you closer to see
and without sense or fear
you draw closer, near
and raise your arms out to reach
the casket inside
has now opened wide
and a deep voice now to you doth beseech
beckoning, "come hither and bless
let me reckon and caress
your heart and soul and mind"
and you find you cannot speak
so you mesmerically follow so meek
the voice, so deep and kind
and the myst now engulfs you
wraps its firm arms to surround you
and you are taken totally within
you feel chilled rakish breathing
on your pure neck, now bequeathing
your lifeblood, your soul, to his sin
and as his lust grows
and your blood eagerly flows
lit by nature's resources
you give yourself complete
blood tasting so sweet
and conjoin as one in dark forces…

poem - Warmest Wishes...

I paint a picture of warmest wishes
fireside cuddles and deep long kisses
of memories so darkly distant now
that new flames are sought I vow
and as the fire spins a merry dance
the evening air stills to enhance
a tingling sensation down your spine
as my arms entwine with thine
and the solo song of natural heat
sings a duet oh so sweet
with whispers and sparks to ignite
the burning passion through the night
each ember hungers in delight
inflamed, enraptured, full of sprite
and encased, enlivened by each other
burns a fire that none will smother
so in front of this eternal flame
sweet words of love are conjoined in name
as our souls unite and inspire
the warmest wishes become a roaring fire…

What is this inhumanity that grows from insanity?

Where fake naked religion kills in marvelled disbelief

Where verbal profanity from those who safely scribe in inanity

Rake through splintered bones and over our grief.

Where politicians faux grieve and pretend to believe and blindly pander

The true feelings of us, yet only when few media faced

Yet still sell the weapons through a money-tree sieve of propaganda

They cut and slice our country into slices apace

As greed is cooked as good for the gander

Espouting faceless, thoughtless solemnitudes without grace

Devout in their Me, Me, Meme meanderings from the real

We know we’re ‘governed’ by bought puppets

Of the arms, oil, tech and pharmaceutical greed

brains barren, barbarous barons all

Who incite the deadly isis and like-minded muppets to feed

On ignorance and promises and fake religious creed

To keep us in our place, faceless and silent

Out of fear for something e’en more violent

A state of ‘press red button’ oppression

As they feed on our force fed ignorance repression

You and I, flushed down the khazi

This country, this world, is completely fugazi…
