Game 13: Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse Listen this was hard. But it took me finding a 16 year old video to beat the doppelganger. I'm happy with myself lol and figuring out Dracula didn't take too long either! I can recommend this game tho despite how difficult it is lol

Game 12: Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest A game with some infamy behind it but it wasn't as bad as I always heard it was. Even with the AVGN review running thru my mind. I played the retranslation and I got the bad end but this was an ok time. I kinda see the bones of what we know NOW in Vania.

Game 11: Castlevania Even as a fan that hopped in during the GBA era, it feels nice to beat the game that started it all! I think the game is very much representative of its time but it's a challenging fun time. They weren't playing back then lol I think I could def play thru this again just for fun

Game 10: Shadow Hearts I never got the chance to play this way back then but now I have. I understand why people like this game! Fun battle system, interesting setting & characters. Horror based concepts throughout? Nicely done. Just wish Pennyblood and Armed Fantasia could get publishers man 😥

Game 9: NBA Street Vol 2. I kinda don't know if i should count this as a complete but I mean... I did beat a nice little tour mode in the game and modeled the character after one of my viewers lol So that was a fun time. Classic arcade sports game. Love it to death

So we completed the Be A Legend mode in NBA Street 2! We spun the wheel on stream and it turned into some mayhem. BUT my viewer got their game they been requesting. Next time I strike up the stream, first ever playthrough of Shadow Hearts! See ya soon #twitch #blackskygamers

Game 8: Yggdra Union Sting is known for some really... interesting titles in their repertoire and Yggdra Union is no different. I did have a few gripes with it but I have to admit its unique way of doing tactical battles is fun. Well worth your time, just take a guide in with the game if you do play

Game 7: The Final Fantasy Legend Ah... the beginnings of the SaGa Series! It was interesting to sit and play this game. It was a little eye opening too! Being able to see parts of where the SaGa DNA truly got its wings. Shout out Akitoshi Kawazu! Short, fun but definitely has a challenge to it!

Game 6: Blasphemous Been wanting to play it and finally got to on stream. One amazing experience i can tell you that. If you wanna explore some religious crazy subtext and so on. Body horror, fun gameplay and great art. This is the game to play. I almost 100%'d on first run

Backlog Billiam 🎮 VaniaTober!! 👻 ✝ @backlogbilliam.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Game 5: Death's Gambit Afterlife A very fun yet hard style of metroidvania. Didn't think I'd like it but I found myself enjoying it a lot. Came with a lot of the Soulslike stylings to make it more challenging. Doesn't follow the MV style of leveling and such. A challenge for the gamers for real.

Game 4: Blaster Master Zero I never played the original from back then but I must say that I found myself liking Blaster Master Zero. It's fun old school action. Can be beaten pretty fast too. Well done game and has solid music too. Has 2 sequels so I may play them this year

Game 3: Claire Obscur Expedition 33 - This is probably one of the more beautiful games I've played. Love so much about it & as someone who is a JRPG enthusiast, I see the bits of DNA from games I've played growing up. This truly is a love letter to the genre. Great game & I see why it won GOTY

Game 2: Lovish Working on a little review for this game but it has such charm to it. It's a fun little retro action platformer where things get out of hand and silly in no time flat. You can practically beat this in one sitting if you got the skills lol
