The United States Congress and the United States Executive Department cabinet have the ability to remove an insane president. They just don't want to. The United States people do not have a legal avenue to doing so outside of protest, and we've been doing that.

The only Constitutional way to have an open seat is for 1) McConnel to die; or 2) two-thirds of the Senate to remove him. What is you'd have Beshear to? #2 isn't going to happen because the GOP won't set this up, and #1 would require murder.

Oh, please. Beshear is the only Dem who can win statewide in KY, and he is that Dem because of who he is an how he acts. He's not in NJ or WA or even GA. An extra Dem Senator until Jan 27 does nothing for the balance of power, and would harm Booker's chances in Nov.

Love AOC, but she's best in the House. Right now she's never had a management job and the presidency is the ultimate management job. Move her up to a significant leadership role, then make her a cabinet secretary in the next Dem. administration. She needs that experience. Caveat: Neither did Obama.
