I love that the wildest scenes have the boldest of colors in The Shining. It makes the situation feel twice as surreal. #tcmparty

Manic old lady aside, is it weird that I want everything about that hotel room including the green walls #tcmparty #theshining

I really feel A24 owes enormous royalties for the amount of atmosphere they've borrowed from The Shining and have become known for. #tcmparty

Danny is an incredible actor who does so much despite how young he was here. #tcmparty #theshining

It's not easy making footage of a kid riding a trike absolutely haunting. #tcmparty #theshining

Is it just me, or is the quality of the camerawork and Shelley's face astonishingly good for a 70/80s movie? #tcmparty

Horror is not my category at all so I've only seen The Shining maybe twice before, but it always gets me how quickly we go from zero to blood. #tcmparty

I can never tell if Jack Nicholson is actually a GOOD actor, but his voice is so distinct that it's hard to ever think he was replaceable in some of his biggest roles. #tcmparty #theshining

The worst task I can imagine having to do in seven minutes is wrangling the spaceship’s cat IN THE MASSIVE SPACESHIP while a teethy alien rampages your crew. #alien

Just sunk into Bergman’s Hour of the Wolf. A true mix of Bergman bleakness with strokes of despair visually scratching at your bones. Can see why David Lynch loved this movie.

Dragon Inn is playing on Criterion 24/7, which is such a classic wuxia film and really one of the key films that set in motion the martial arts mania of the 70s. Also so violent, so wild.

I'm curious if anyone DISLIKED Withnail and I. I have a rather fond appreciation of the film, but I could see this being a bit polarizing because ultimately it is a story about two f' ups that are kind of insufferable. #tcmparty

Young Richard E. Grant is definitely a serial killer and a vampire and a lover all at once. #tcmparty #withnailandi

This will go down as one of my favorite TCM intros in awhile, just for the Paul Rudd facts #tcmparty

"He was filming his first movie HALLOWEEN 6" is the most Paul Rudd story #tcmparty

There's something crazy to me about Dave Karger being close friends with Paul Rudd, but I also very much love that. #tcmparty

Continuing to pound out an article as I also try to balance listening to the insanity that is Withnail and I. #tcmparty

Coyote vs. Acme is actually a really terrific little movie about both a silly, yet relevant to our current world problems. Totally worth a couple of hours in a theater this holiday weekend.

Meta’s lawsuit resulting in $18b is only ONE MONTH of revenue/3-4 months of profit for the company which is insane. They make sooooo much money.
