Ok but…I need to know if the corn pops when he’s done. Why am I putting so much thought into this? 😂

Obasan the Fangirl @babylonstalker.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

If this soulmate AU turns out to be longer than my dissertation was then I’ll…uhh. I don’t know what I’ll do. Sit and cry about it. Go comm art for it because my soul will be gone at that point. Idk. The shit I do for charity. 😂😂

Although if any of you are fellow old farts who remember The Thorn Birds and want a read I just dropped a one-shot and there's a novel-length soulmate AU that'll be done by EOY both of which were charity comms for Extra Life. archiveofourown.org/works/93917491

If you’re subscribed to me on ao3 and see a new post from me…I’m sorry to disappoint you it’s not my usual fandoms. 😂 It’s a charity comm. And I guarantee it’s more than likely not your thing.

This is one of the reasons I haven’t been drawing as much. I’m still trying to get good at things like poses and proportions and sometimes things just come out with extra digits or wonky bits…and I know people are going to be skeptical, because we’re ALL skeptical. And it’s so fucking depressing.

My mom is now hooked on K-Dramas and I get no context updates on shows I’ve never seen. She just walked into my office and said “You know, the guy in the potato lab was so handsome.” Handsome potato man, whoever you may be, thank you for entertaining her.

Well I’ve made it awkward that’s for damn sure. Like cringe inducing and I deleted several paragraphs because I couldn’t even read the fucking thing. Why you would commission the girl who lives for erotic queer horror to write erotic straight fluff is beyond me.

Dear car insurance company that made me install a little app on my phone to track safe driving so I get a discount. Allow me introduce you to a concept called ✨WILDLIFE✨. I assure you not braking hard and hitting a deer would be MUCH LESS SAFE than the alternative. Morons.

May I suggest installing the good ending mod. I haven’t finished going through it yet but I hear it’s a very different experience!

PSA: Before this "dislike" thing gets out of hand, because I've seen some very big accounts misinforming people, here's what it actually is. It's a private option that lets you see less of topics you're not interested in on certain feeds. That's it. It's not a downvote, thumbs down, etc.

When we write or draw porn or erotica, we get banned from having a bank account and our livelihoods get seized even if we give it away for free. When billionaires steal what we've written or drawn to churn out a slop-approximate of porn, they're allowed to charge for it.

A meme image with the top text "Remember what they took" and the bottom text "From us." The top half displays an image of Yakuza 3, where the character Daigo lies on a gurney with his feet out. Thank you!!! Now I’ve just got to pack up two houses worth of stuff, fly my mom and my cat up there, fly back, and then drive up with the husband and the doggo which is apparently a six day drive. I’m ready for this to be done so I can actually relax again. 😓
