#LFF26 - 1 Just give it ALL the awards now. I’m fiercely opposed to actors being double nommed, but will have no problem if ‘The Queen of Spain’ Penelope Cruz is 🤩 #LaBolaNegra

It’s wild that we’re in October and this is still my favourite film of the year….

Have never wanted to see a film less than the one I am currently sat in. Was conceived in a lab to repel me. I’m here cos… 1: If by some miracle it gets noms I’ll have already got it out of the way 2: There’s a twist I don’t want spoiled 3: Had a free ticket 4: Now I can hate it with authority

Just spent 3 hours working out my #LFF schedule and that's not even as long as of the films I'll be seeing 🤦🏽

Just cancelled my @Netflix.com subscription. Haven’t watched anything in it since March. Only have Disney+ left. Barely watch that either so its days are numbered. Very pleased with myself.

Dolly died 💔 My brother just called me and I screamed in the supermarket. Was about to go to the cinema but obvs not doing that now. I’ve often wondered what I would do when this happened. Crouching down and crying by the cured meats was not in my plans. I’m at a loss 😢

The very first CD I ever owned was a preview copy of Dewdrops In The Garden given to me by Lady Miss Kier herself 🤩 I had nothing to play it on. Still own it

Good grief I hated The Odyssey. What a chore. All three of us that went fell asleep at various points. Samantha Morton innocent.

Ann Blyth was the longest surviving acting nominee having been nommed in 1945 for Mildred Pierce. She should have won. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMPf...

Lol. I asked this & nobody let me know they happened the next day?? I’ve been away so not as up to date as I should be. Anyway for the first time in forever I have no complaints. Happy (Relieved) for Glenn & I can now take 2 people off of my Top 10 Deserved list. Caron/Deneuve next please 🙏

When are they announcing this year’s disappointing list of Honorary Academy Award winners???

BabyClydeOscars @babyclydeoscars.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

Been a long time since I’ve actually managed to finish an Academy shortlist. They’s usually a few that can’t be tracked down. Only one to go on Docs as well 🤞🏾 boxd.it/QIq4U

Currently in Casablanca. I’m shocked, shocked to find it’s grim. Came here for the water but was misinformed. Hoped for the beginning of a beautiful friendship but glad I came anyway or would regret it, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but soon & for the rest of my life. Rick’s Cafe was shut 😤

Why have they done this? Who is it for?? Literally never heard anyone advocate for this?? We want more people nominated not the same names repeating. There are so many real issues to address that it’s baffling this has taken precedence.

I’m off to an Oscars party. Proper one at a cinema, not a friend’s house. Haven’t done this in 15 years & I’m scared. People will talk during Best Documentary Short 😫. No one will know who Miyoshi Umeki is 🤦🏾‍♂️. The quiz will use year of ceremony not film 😡. Send your thoughts and prayers.

I’ve already seen Sirāt and don’t tend to do rewatches of recent films, but there is a Q&A with the ridiculously hot Óliver Laxe at cinema 10 minutes from my house next week. Would it be appropriate to go along just to drool? 🤤
