All the reviewers on YouTube seem to glaze the 2005 Amityville Horror, but I thought it was borderline hilariously bad. Like almost to the point of camp. I'm usually the one who likes a movie when everyone else hates it, but not this time... 😐

Watched "The Taking of Deborah Logan". It was a genuinely terrifying film. For its portrayal of a real, horrifying disease, and its use of suspense. But it did lose me in one respect: we knew the villain's motivation. I can't be scared of that happening in my own home. It's too specific.

My neighbor came over with his backhoe, dug out the pipe and bush, and we cleared the sewer main. 😭 Are there still roots somewhere under there? Did I just kick the can down the road? Maybe. But for the moment I am off the hook for a 10k bill. I can never repay him.😭
