Incorrectly accusing an artist of using genAI does more damage to a community of creatives than an artist (or anyone else) actually using genAI. As the tech continues to improve, we’ll lose more artists to burnout caused by incorrect accusations than to loss of income from reduced patronage. Stop.

You know what’s worse than generative AI? People who insist they can spot generative AI. You can’t. Not anymore. The tells aren’t always there at this stage in the technology’s development. I hate genAI too, but every time you incorrectly accuse an artist of posting it you destroy their motivation
