The Mengss Pastel box after the cleaning. These pastels are almost 100 years old and some of the pigments are no longer in production. On some pastels there is also written to pay attention because they are toxic. In the last image the pastels before the cleaning.

A portrait of a friend. I talked with this friend about my project to take portrait to surfers and she agreed to let me take portrait of her and her friends. This was probably the very very first image of this Italians gone Surfing series that now count hundreds of portraits.
