blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 17/04/2025the FO should not pick and choose which parts of the Nordecke they want to have around. especially if they want co-opt the work of volunteers to use the org for marketing materials. once again, if the FO wants a stale, corporate atmosphere they can - but that is antithetical to a supporters club. 150
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 17/04/2025I get that completely, but the FO essentially demanded a stale corporate atmosphere - and that they will receive. At the end of the day, we wouldn’t be having this conversation at all if the game was in Columbus where it belongs. 250
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 17/04/2025it is much deeper than this - but yeah, the FO has not helped plan much of anything. blocking banners, flags, and tifo was already castrating the supporters club. they said too they would not keep Messi shirts from the “Nordecke”. pulling back capos is perfectly reasonable in response. 160
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 17/04/2025seconded! and fuck the FO for manufacturing this problem in the first place. 090
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 09/04/2025I have one thing to say. Thank you Issa Tall. that is all. #Crew96 020
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 03/04/2025you’re telling me that the #Crew96 front office mislead the supporters club and forced a stale corporate atmosphere for the game they are holding two hours from home to reap further profits from the potential of Messi drawing a crowd? wow. not at all a predictable outcome. 1122
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 10/03/2025not the first time he’s crashed and burned in the last week 010
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 24/02/2025for the Nordecke to be a safe-space for all fans, we have to exclude those who make it impossible. racists, homophobes, transphobes, and fascists have place in the organization - and we should not keep them company. doing so only emboldens them more. #Crew96 2151
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 24/02/2025the San Diego buzz is just St. Louis all over again. can’t wait to see articles about how they have figured out the league before finishing mid table 020

blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 21/01/2025there was also the nazi salute thing from Elon, the full unveiling of the oligarchs at the inauguration, and probably some other shit I’m missing because the Trump news cycle is back. eight hours. gonna be a long four years. 010
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 21/01/2025- delayed the TikTok ban, though it is unclear if it will usurp the federal statute banning it from law. - rug-pulled a crypto coin making a ton of money for himself and his friends in the process - withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization 110

blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 08/01/2025should be worth noting that this administration hasn’t even begun and we are already embroiled in multiple geopolitical conflicts 👍 010
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 18/12/2024here’s a thing I wrote back in August which is suddenly pertinent once again - #Crew96 medium.com/@b.dearth27/...medium.comThe Cleveland Cause and CapitalismIt seems that this story never truly ends, never providing a moment to rest. The life of a fan of the Columbus Crew can turn grim so quickly when it should be at its highest. Why must it be so hard… 020
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 18/12/2024and there it is, the story we have been waiting for. #Crew96 will play a regular season match in Cleveland this upcoming season against Inter Miami. why? so the Haslam family can milk every penny they can out of the occasion at the detriment of the fans right here in Columbus. what a joke. 020
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 17/12/2024rewatching Ted Lasso and it’s just as good the second time around 000

blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 11/12/2024manchin and sinema welcoming in the dark ages of workers rights in this country. grim. 010
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 11/12/2024it’s an unfortunate state of affairs when the worlds premier football tournament can be so easily traded to sportswash a regime with an atrocious human rights record and oil money to blow. 000
blaino @b1aino.bsky.social · 11/12/2024thanks to FIFA, fans of the game will now have to endure a second moral panic when the World Cup takes place in Saudi Arabia in 2034. how many migrant workers will die? how many will be unpaid? how many will literally lose their freedom to build stadiums that are abandoned a decade later? 120
