The Great Land Grab Interviews: Professor Brian Thom
In this interview, Professor Brian Thom from the University of Victoria introduces us to the historic E&N Railway land grant, what it means for today, and how maps and ideas of property can inform our understanding of the great land grab. PSA: Pre-orders start for #Commodore 8020, a high-end flip phone that encourages being off your phone, w/o giving up things like Google Maps, Uber, WhatsApp, etc. At $600+CAD it's not a cheap phone, but may be a worthwhile experiment in retro-technology built for today @commodoreofficial.bsky.social
