I have, somehow, managed to cut my thumb open with the blunt end of a nail. The blunt end. Yeah, I don't know either I'm fine, it's just inconvenient. But still...

Clancy has been watching me from the sidelines and apparently felt inspired

A plastic skeleton with short, blonde twine hair in a matured and combed pattern. The skeleton is sat in a chair and holding a five-string bass with its right hand. The right hand ends on a stub wrapped in painted twine.

Ditto, but the skeleton is now loosely "fretting" the bass with his left hand, which is intact.

Well, here's a teaser for the new music. I'm much more confident in this than I was for the previous release.

010

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Process can be a beautiful thing. But not in this instance. New music on the way, and *this* will hopefully transform into some competent cover art

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I gave Clancy an eyepatch, and also trimmed Clifford's hair somewhat to tidy her up.

Two plastic skeletons with twine glued to the heads to approximate hair. One has long hair with tidy bangs and the other has a mature, short hairstyle with a part on the left side. The short-haired skeleton also has an eyepatch made of foil adhered over its left eye socket.

An alternate view of the previous scene, with the focus being on the left cheeks of the skeletons

Ditto, but this time focused on the right side of the face.

New song available. Probably my weirdest output yet, and also the one I'm most uncertain about, but I think I've done all I can for it #electronicrock www.youtube.com/watch?v=crfE...

This seems more relevant than ever. Reminder that you should not attempt to use artificial intelligence to resurrect those who you have lost, and you *especially* shouldn't use artificial intelligence to create victim impact statements on the behalf of the deceased.

Crossposting from my hellsite account. Nine of the most important albums to me. Will this list be the same in five years? No clue! Also, I posted this after manually stitching everything together just to find out somebody already made a template, which is funny (Repost because I forgot alt text)

A 3x3 grid of musical albums with the album art, artist name, and album name. From top left to bottom right, we have Fantastic Planet by Failure (1996), Blood Mountain by Mastodon (2006), Songs of Love and Hate by Godflesh (1996), Rat Wars by HEALTH (2023), Dos Dedos Mis Amigos by Pop Will Eat itself (1994), Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode (1993), Chuck by Sum 41 (2004), Wish by The Cure (1992), and Crimson by Alkaline Trio (2005).

Clifford now has a brother! I had a lot of fun decorating her, so I went back to town and bought her a brother. This fella's name is Clancy.

Clifford update: she slept safe and sound at my desk.

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Ooh! A vampire, perhaps? Whatever she is, this is good

010

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Clifford has a full head of hair now! I gave her bangs to hide the high forehead I accidentally created. Also, Clifford is a woman now. Why? Because a friend made a typo.

000

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

You know what they say. You can put hair on a skeleton, but you can't... wait, that's not how it goes

I should stream again at some point. Been too long

And here is the final item! No kidding when I said I fell in love with Blood Mountain

000

Azure3301 @azure3301.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Also, I have a skeleton now. I'm thinking of calling him Clifford, but I'm not pulling the trigger on that just yet

A-ha! You didn't say anything about hugging it out! Serious answer is probably a stalemate. Considering the clone is effectively just a second me, we'd be locked in a constant cycle of sizing each other up, thinking "fuck that, he wins", and then going "well maybe, if I strategise"

Nothing says relaxing afternoon like staring at the cretinous faces of Xysticus spiders because you want to find out what exactly that weird looking critter on your garage door is. Seriously, why do these motherfuckers simultaneously look stoned *and* full of malice?

Woah. Shaw has changed a lot in 70 years. Also, I've just now realised that *so* much of what I've known as Greater Manchester used to be something else completely. Like, I've known ages it used to be smaller, but still.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

Worries about vaccination rates in dogs
As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

I think I've found my new favourite album

The artwork to Blood Mountain (2006) by Mastodon. The cover is a blue, three-headed anthropomorphic beast with antlers, markings on the arms, and many eyes. The background is a repeating pattern of shapes in various shades of brown, with the most prominent being stars.

my hottest take on planet earth: it does feel good to sing along to music, but if you actually intend on showing a song to someone, and it's their first time listening, they're getting the worst version of the song if you insist on singing along to every word.
