Just another #sunset, this one with time passing witnesses.

Photo of an out of focus sunset. The bottom half of the picture has the beach sand in focus with four objects which seem congregated. Two shells and two little stones. The most prominent of them, a shell, is oriented towards the sun. Towards the center of the image we see the see, which is towards the left, it includes a reflection of the sun. In the top half we see the sun setting, clouds and the sky that has a shade from orange to blue, thought the sky is prominently white clouds. There’s a block of apartment buildings to the right of the sun.

I believe it’s getting harder and I feel that it is by design and by inaction of those that could do something about it. As someone else commented, I too feel a sense of doom. Fires, wars, far right growing, attacks on science and the scientific method, etc., etc.

Long-snouted Seahorse Hippocampus guttulatus Caballito de mar I found this seahorse cutie somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, all by itself next to a cement block, 15m below the surface. 🌊🦑

The seahorse rises from the middle bottom of the picture almost looking like a candy cane. It’s not quite facing the camera but slightly looking towards our right. Both its eyes are visible, its snout is fairly prominent. On the left we can see the briozoos to which it was holding. On the right the sandy background but fairly out of focus. The whole scene is flooded in warm colors.

Humpback whale. Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. #DiveSky 🌊

The whale is seen from above. The tail is at the top left and the head towards the bottom right. Sun rays break through the photo from the bottom third on the right moving towards the left and too. The pectoral fins are wide open towards the side, similar to a plane.
